“Booked to visit the Lodge with some friends. The lodge did not disappoint one bit. Was much bigger than expected and very homely. The lodge had everything we needed and more. “Kitchen well equipped and easy to prepare food. Washer dryer is useful although not mentioned on the website. Freezer was without shelves for some reason.. mentioned to staff. Some damp in the back bedroom… cold spell, heating and no wall insulation likely to be cause.Heating not working when arrived… called reception and it was resolved in a few minutes with a maintenance/site attendant sent to help immediately. Bedding and pillows very comfortable. Great accommodation all round.”

“The owners keep the property up to a very high standard, always busy, location is ideal, close to local attractions with good routes, but enough out the way to be peaceful. The local walks are great, plenty of wildlife, top the day off with a nice soak in the well maintained hot tubs. Beautiful.”
