“We were so pleased with Hotel Adler. When we first arrived we met a gentleman who was so pleasant. We found out he was a long time friend of the owners. Iy was special to wath the interation between the staff & this gentleman. We were the only giests foe breakfast - bit yiu would not know it due to the wonderful breakfast we were served. Special details were given & we felt like royalty. Yhis is a beautiful place filled with hospitality & kindness. Thank you. ”

I arrived at the auto-check-in machine, which informed me that my reservation had been cancelled because I wanted to check in one day later. According to the terms and conditions published on hotels.com, cancelling a reservation is not an explicit consequence of a later check-in. “Vi havde bestilt og betalt for en upgrade til et større og mere luksuriøs værelse. Vi fik dog kun et standardværelse, og føler os snydt. Der var ingen personale der kunne hjælpe os, så øv. Den digitale lås til både hoveddør og værelse fungerede fint, kunne tænke mig flere hoteller ville gøre det samme så man slipper for at bære rundt på en tung nøgle, eller et nøglekort.”
