“Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti con un cocktail di benvenuto dissetante e rinfrescante, il soggiorno è stato incantevole, il personale molto disponibile efficiente, la camera spaziosa e curta nei minimi dettagli, cosí come il bagno. Frigobar con bevande incluse nel prezzo della camera e snack tutti i giorni. La camera veniva sistemata più volte al giorno e con qualche piccola sorpresa. Colazione abbondante e ampia scelta.”

“L’hotel è gestito da un indiano che ha sposato una spagnola e il suo gusto nell’’arredamento si vede in tutto l’hotel, veramente molto carino mantenendo fede allo stile indiano.
Abbiamo anche cenato sulla terrazza dell’hotel con vista del forte prendendo un pollo al limone non piccante perfetto dopo tanti giorni di cucina speziata.
Anche la pulizia è ai livelli europei, una rarità in India. Unica pecca la stradina per arrivarci ma siamo in India e le strade sono queste. ”

The Hotel Grand Khalifa exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, airy and very spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. Nice hot shower after our long drive from Udaipur!
The welcome drink was a nice touch. We had dinner and breakfast which were made to our likings. Mr Amardeen chatted with us over dinner and his laal maas was amazing! Must try if you are going in Jaiselmer!

Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. Highly recommended!”
