Exceptional

High end, art work, top of the line italian stove that I'd like to install in our kitchen. Wonderful pool, ping pong, a pool table in great condition - for the (adult) kids and grandkids My wife loved it, and she is very hard to please. We very much enjoyed our stay and will book again.

Amazing views, beautiful property and convenient location

Watch the sunset from almost every room, cool off in the warm pool, have a meal on the patio, finish the night in the hot tub, this property has everything. There's even a fire pit and space heater for some late night drinks. Even though it is somewhat close to other houses, the foliage and quiet neighborhood makes it feel very private. It's also probably only about 7 minutes away from downtown Sonoma which is very convenient. Be aware the drive is quite hilly but not challenging. A few notes for those who like to cook, there was lots of staples, spices etc. Great sharp knives, a pretty complete set of cooking utensils, pots/pans and lots of plates/bowls/glasses. There's a finicky oven which has some special instructions (we didn't end up using it) but the range is great. The indoor dining table seats 8 and the outdoor also seats 8 so it's perfect for that size party. It's important for those with elderly guests that one of the bedrooms has a bunk bed with a ladder. The pool is not child safe (I wouldn't expect it to be) so if you have little ones please ensure they are supervised. The AC is adequate, on very hot days it can struggle a tad but we were very comfortable even when it hit 105ºF outside. There is also a large washer and dryer which is great! Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The house was perfect.

A wonderful, relaxing oasis close to Sonoma Square

This property is a well-appointed, lovely home and property that feels remote when you are on site but is conveniently located 10 minutes away from grocery stores and shopping. The pool and hot tub kept us busy most days. My kids loved the bunk beds. Everything was functional and we had a lovely time. I highly recommend.

Family retreat for the holidays

My husband and I, along with our adult children, enjoyed a wonderful time together in Sonoma. The house is very comfortable with plenty of room for the family to gather for meals and games and for the family to separate to read and relax. The kitchen is well-equipped (we had no problems using the oven) and a central part of the home. We walked down to town many times (although we always opted to return uphill in a car!) to enjoy all that Sonoma offers. The home’s artwork, music collection, hot tub, and pool table added to our enjoyment.

The house was amazing and quite comfortable. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The kitchen had everything you needed. The pool table was an added bonus.

Sonoma Retreat

Lovely. spacious, clean, modern, well maintained and fully equipped with amenities. Great for family get together. The only down fall is that it is up in the hills and not walking distance to town. However it is a short drive to town.

Photos represent the house well, very comfortable. Beds/mattresses were a little soft for my tastes, but overall it was perfect for our trip. One bedroom and bath is separated from the rest of the house, which isn’t clear in the listing, but suited our needs just fine. Highly recommend

Peaceful retreat in Sonoma

The house is charming, peaceful and secluded. The pool and hottub are great. It has a chef's kitchen and very large outdoor spaces for family to congregate in different seating groups. It is minutes from Sonoma Square, so shopping and great restaurants are very nearby. We hope we are lucky enough to visit this home again. The house was actually better than the photos, and they were great.

A great outdoor space that was really relaxing. The interior was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed to make the stay easy and uncomplicated. The house was a short drive to downtown Sonoma which worked great for us. We would definitely stay there again!

Home slept 8 of us women very comfortably and is a quick 3 miles into downtown Sonoma. Which is so much better than downtown Napa any day!! Just don’t plan on working too much since the views are amazing and the internet and cell service is interminent. Home surpassed expectations. Hoping to come back with our spouses to enjoy wine country next time!!

Beautiful home and property

We stayed her for our annual girls weekend. This property is one that all 8 girls agreed was a return to next year top option! From the sleeping arrangements to outdoor time the property is a perfect stay so close to downtown Sonoma. The property managers are very responsive to make sure your stay is perfect. The pool was perfect! Note that the oven in the kitchen is tricky so we did not use it, but if a baker keep that in mind.

The house was absolutely beautiful and was great for our group of friends. We loved having access to the hot tub and the open layout of the house was really nice for our large group. The kitchen is one of the best of the many VRBOs we've stayed at! Would rent again for sure.

The house was wonderful. It was modern but had a warm feeling.From the newly-remodeled kitchen with new appliances you could see other parts of the living areas. The floor plan was excellent. The amenities were wonderful for our three-generation family. Teenagers and adults enjoyed the billiards, ping pong and spa. I did not feel that the on-line photos gave justice to the property. We were pleasantly surprised that it was much nicer than we thought,

Awesome secluded getaway yet minutes from town

You cannot believe how amazing this place is until you see it. On the outside, the property is pretty unassuming, but once you go in, it's everything you would expect from a luxury vacation home. The house is in a residential neighborhood but feels very private and secluded. From most rooms of the house, you wouldn't even know there are neighbors, and from the pool, you can just see one house through the trees. If you like to cook, you will love the kitchen -- 6 burner gas stovetop, huge oven, stainless steel cookware, lots of counter space, functional lighting, well designed for socializing with room for friends and family to hang out with you while you're cooking without getting in your way. The master bedroom has a fantastic view of the hills. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and twin on top. The third bedroom has two twin beds plus a twin trundle bed. The separate cottage is quiet and stays nice and cool in the summer. I love that the house is so conveniently located. It takes an hour to drive there from Berkeley. It's less than 10 minutes by car down the hill to Sonoma square and Whole Foods. We take our little one to the park in the middle of Sonoma square. There are two areas with sand, play structures and swings, one designed for little kids and one for older kids with a ridiculously high slide. There are public restrooms in the park and a duck pond. The whole park is clean, well shaded and very comfortable in the summer when it can get quite hot. If our teenager has a friend with her, they will take themselves to the cafe across the street from the park to have lunch and then stroll around the square shopping or checking out the galleries. I believe several places around the square offer wine tasting but I have only been to Hwy 12's wine counter which was inside a cute store. If you have kids who love trains, Train Town is a two minute drive down Main Street. The train ride stops at a petting zoo where you can feed the goats and a couple of llamas. They also have a merry go round and other rides. The last time we stayed here, my husband brought his bike and explored the countryside. Afterwards, he met me and the kids at the park and we drove back up the hill. (He was trilled to be able to ride down the hill --which he said was the funnest part of the ride-- and not have to make the climb back on his bike.). There is no shortage of things to do, or just enjoy the amazing house and relax in style.

Amazing retreat in the Sonoma Hills

This lovely home is the perfect getaway. The home is spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with activities for all. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by our whole family, and the pool and ping pong table encourage "screen free" family time, although the TV and WiFi allow screen time for those who choose. Walking into the house for the first time, one member of our group said, "This looks like something from HGTV!" The house is beautifully decorated, with comfortable, attractive furnishings and tasteful artwork. The gourmet kitchen makes meal preparation a pleasure, but for those times you don't want to cook, downtown Sonoma, with all of its wonderful restaurants and shops, is a short drive (or a long walk for the adventurous) away. Several wineries are also only a short drive away. This impeccably maintained property has something for everyone. We will come back as often as we can!
