We had a great time ! We’d thought facilities would be a little more basic in terms of cooking etc., but we managed meals very well with the BBQ and the microwave, along with the great pizza place down the road. Beautiful views from the place and an easy walk to the waterside.

Beautiful and Peaceful!

My wife and I truly enjoyed a very relaxing, beautiful, and romantic stay. The views are stunning, the property is gorgeous, and the pillows are comfy. Between the ocean view and the star-studded sky, we basically lived in the hot tub every evening. Alexander was a great host and we enjoyed meeting the pups as well. We will definitely return!

Beautiful property and view.

It was a wonderful stay with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed the hot tub and deck. Just wish the listing had indicated no stove for cooking.

One word “wow”

From the moment I opened the door I was in love with this place. It has the most amazing views. The space itself is very nicely appointed all with the view in mind. Clean and modern. It is the perfect retreat. The host communicated instructions clearly and check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend.

Spectacular View

Stayed 3 nights for our anniversary. Comfortable bed and fabulous view of the ocean. Small upgrades could be made to elevate the experience. Consider a Frosted or opaque shower door to provide some privacy. Although the suite was very clean and we used the hot tub every night! the outside space glass needed an upgraded cleaning and hot tub cover should be replaced. Other than a couple of minor things, that view and access to walks on the beach were priceless. Thank you to our great hosts!

Cozy, Clean and Fantastic View

We loved our stay at the rooftop suite. It was super clean and cozy and right on the beach overlooking the strait. Alexander answered our queries quickly and everything we needed was there, even for a large studio space with just a kitchenette. The photos are anccurate except it’s even nicer, super private and quiet save for the waves. The bed is very comfortable. One thing to be aware off is it IS rooftop. So not only is there a full set of stairs along the gravel pathway as shown in the pictures, there’s also a full flight of stairs after that. It can make for a long haul if you’re overpackets like we are.

Ocean getaway

Just what we were looking for -- quiet, right on the ocean, lot of windows and balcony looking over the ocean (saw seal, otters, orcas swimming by, along with sea birds and Bald Eagle, deer right outside the door), personal hot tub on the deck each evening. Just basic kitchen stuff (microwave, no oven/stove) -- but that's what we expected. 9 miles (15 minutes) to Sooke -- groceries, restaurants, etc. Lots of beaches all up and down the coastal road.We stayed 4 nights.

Better than the pictures

This place turned out to be better than we could have pictured, for our honeymoon! The view was incredible and beautiful at all times of the day. We enjoyed watching whales and seals in the evenings and doing some light exploring during the day. Alexander was very friendly and helpful with any of our questions. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful quiet get-away with a fantastic ocean view

Points West's Rooftop suite has a great location. Its just west of Sooke, BC, tucked away in the forest making it nice and quiet, but located on the edge of a sand and gravel beach that presents it with a fantastic panoramic ocean view. The outdoor hot tub and deck is awesome for chilling-out and enjoying the view from. The suite is modern, clean and well appointed - very nicely maintained. The host, Alexander, is very responsive to any enquiries and very respectful of the privacy of the guests - in short, ideal. Whenever we visit Sooke again, it will be our first choice location to stay at!

Rooftop Suite with Beautiful View

We stayed at the Rooftop Suite for our Anniversary celebration trip to Victoria Island. The room had spectacular view of the waters and it was so pleasant to wake up to the view in the morning. Alexander provided very detailed instructions for the check-in process and very responsive throughout out stay. The room had all the necessities and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day. Thank you Alexander for hosting!

Wonderful and Relaxing Experience

We had a lovely time at Alexander's place. The hosts were responsive, helpful, friendly and had great suggestions for places to eat and sites to visit. The view was fantastic. We would stay again and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful, stay in a beautiful location.

A view that's hard to beat!

Can't say enough about the stunning views from this property. Watching and hearing the ocean, cruise ships going by, whales breaching in the distance was amazing! Very comfy bed and the large deck with private hot tub is a great touch. There were a few small touches that were missing that would make this property 5 stars but would definitely recommend it!
