“Location was good for shopping and restaurants. Parking was easy, but getting on main road was awful.
The room: Smelled funky. Sheets were clean (blue light checked), bed not comfortable though. Furniture was pretty shabby. Bathroom had a disgusting tub.
Outside area had VERY sketchy people hanging out, who seemed to be long-term guests.
I do not recommend this place. The price was cheaper for a reason!”

“Our room, though very compact, was clean and the bed comfortable. No mirror in the bedroom area; only in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and sufficient but very thin towels and the toilet seat was cracked/peeling. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. Offerings were minimal and some was inedible fruit and with an hour to go in the breakfast timing there was very little left. “Very friendly and efficient check-in/check-out processes. Front-desk staff extremely helpful. Rooms were great in an excellent location to explore historic Portsmouth on foot. Random staff in hallways were courteous and always had a pleasant "hello". Can't speak highly enough about the staff.”

“Hotel is very well located. Near beach, shops, coffee shops, the Marginal way.
Breakfast is extremely minimal- nothing fancy.
Rooms are very outdated - I did not feel the sheets were cleaned properly, carpet in rooms is a huge no no for hotels.
Parking is good and staff is helpful upon arrival”
