“The best view ever. Nice to be there for the second time”

“Elsa's is a wonderful place to stay if you are traveling to Prospect Harbor. It is a quaint building with beautiful rooms. But what made our stay spectacular was Gail. She is absolutely amazing. She gave us lots of great ideas about sites to see during our visit. She makes delicious breakfasts. And she's just so much fun to talk to. We wanted to bring her home with us! We will definitely come back for another stay as soon as possible.”

“The campsite was absolutely amazing. The different areas to camp in were great. There was plenty of space for a hammock, if we had brought one. The only complaint we had were the black flies, but those just come with the experience of being in nature!”

“I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nice, quiet tucked away in the woods but close enough to restaurants and various other creature comforts in nearby Bar Harbor. I even extended my stay by a day and that was also hassle free. Y’all rock!”

“This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park...
