A magical place does exist in South Haven and it’s one of our hidden gems full of local history and modern amenities, and it’s called Peach Mansion. This beautiful home was built by one of South Haven’s most historic figures - His name is found in several places here as a tribute to his contributions and vision for the growth of South Haven. A.S. Dyckman, originally from New York, settled in South Haven in 1838 and opened the first hotel and the first commercial orchard; which later became famous for growing varieties of South Haven's Peaches. Peach Mansion was built in 1860’s and has undergone many transformations, styles and motifs over the decades. However, the latest version of the Peach, is one of the most beautiful modern approaches that fills this house full of energy, warmth and love. 

As soon as you step inside, the character and charm of the era surround you, yet each modern touch ensures you feel right at home. On the West Side, the cozy living room opens up to a spacious dining area, setting the stage for cherished gatherings. Here, you can almost feel the echoes of past generations sharing meals and laughter in this very room, surrounded by the same beautifully preserved woodwork that speaks to the home’s storied past.

The West Kitchen, a chef’s dream, offers updated appliances and spacious countertops, yet still radiates the warmth and timeless appeal of its 19th-century origins. This space seems made for family feasts, where stories and recipes are passed down as lovingly as the home itself.

Great house! Nice location. Plenty of room. My only complaint was the air conditioning. The first floor was fine and part of the second floor. But we used all the bedrooms. 2 of them weren’t very cool. Hard to sleep there.
