If no back to back bookings, we allow early check in at 3:00 pm and late check out at 12:00 pm. Requests have to be approved 2 days before arrival.

Overall enjoyable stay as house was pretty comfortable and had most of the amenities as described. The host was very reachable and communicated very effectively.Just some small issues with sauna not working properly which I think host/owner is process of fixing.I would recommend this place if you are planning to relax in Tahoe and away from the noise and tourists..

Wonderful house which allowed all 12 of us to stay together vs. a hotel. Great amenities and close to Tahoe attractions. The description did not include the many steps it took to reach the main floor. This was difficult because we had 2 disabled people. We left a list of things needing to be repaired. We did have a great time.

La casa esta muy bonita y grande. El anfitrion te contesta a cualquier hora para cualquier duda. No servia la chimenea de la estancia y se nos aviso ya que ibamos a entrar. Les recomiendo dejar los closets vacios yponer todo enel cuarto de lavado, hay cunas de viajes, ventiladores, colchonetas; y poner mas ganchos para la ropa. Y le caeria muy bien una buena escombrada y limpiada al garage.

A winter wonderland cabin

Everything about this place was absolutely perfect. Great communication, check in, entire stay, check out. My family had a great time staying at this property. Pictures should be updated to mirror new updates, in person was much better. Pool, jacuzzi, theatre room and sauna were all in working condition and perfect for our family Christmas gathering. If your booking is in the winter, the roads leading to the property are pretty icy and the driveway is really icy so a 4x4 vehicle with snow tires is needed. We had one of our vehicles, a SUV expedition slide off the icy driveway since it’s on a bit of a slope. 3 car garage and driveway space for 1-2 cars depending on how much snow there is. Don’t hesitate to book!

Great property with horrible management

This house is great but poorly managed. I’ve stayed at a number of vrbos and I’ve never dealt with a property manager this bad. He called prior to checkin for an overview of the property and was already complaining about “past guests and their stupidity”. Checking in was no problem but the house wasn’t the cleanest. There was confetti on the floor in places and I found a dirty q-tip under my nightstand. There were only 16 towels in the place for 14 people, so to use the sauna/pool/hot tub we had to run laundry daily. There was no body soap anywhere in the house, but for some reason they had stocked a ton of shampoo and conditioner. There was no dish drying rack and only one spare drying towel, so getting all of the required dishes cleaned and put away prior to check out was a chore. One of the showers had mildew in it. The theater room didn’t work except with an iPhone casting to it. The pool was cold, we complained, the manager told us it was fine, then without consulting us had a technician come to check it. He told us it was 80 degrees, sent me pictures to confirm it was 80, and then complained to me that his technician coming to the house cost him $150. The next day the pool was much warmer, so I had a hard time believing the photos he sent of the pool temp was actually from our stay. Lastly, the hot tub wasn’t working when we got there. We ended up trouble shooting it and had to trip a breaker to get it to start working. For the money, I wouldn’t stay here again. .

Family vacation

Incredible place. The host was so helpful with the process. I would stay again. We had my wife, 4 children and their spouses, 3 grandchildren. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. What a great experience.

House and location were great. Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and movie room were very enjoyable. Neighbors were a bit sensitive. For the price, we would have thought more toiletries would be available. Only 1 toilet paper roll per room. Place was clean but when we got there it needed a little TLC.

Unimpressed — No AC!!!

This property was obviously a very beautiful and expensive property when it was built, but has been severely neglected over the years. It is apparent that the owner has not put the money into it to keep up with the maintenance. Two days before arrival we were informed that although the property has central air conditioning, it is broken and the owner will not be fixing it. It was well into the 90’s during our stay and completely miserable. I spoke to Dennis several times and all he offered was to speak to the owner about purchasing more fans that never arrived. Had we known the property did not have air conditioning, we would never have rented it. There is a curfew for the hot tub with confusing times, 9p, 9:30pm, 9:45pm, 10:00pm we never knew for sure. All we knew is we were threatened with a $1000 fine for violating it. The pool room and pool itself was dirt when we arrived. The pool heater was not working. The broken pool cover was covered with a piece of sheet metal that looked like it could cut your foot if you stepped on it. The floors were filthy! Cabinet drawers fronts were falling off, the dishwasher rack was broken, the sauna did not work, One of the theater chairs did not work, one of the dining chairs was broken, many of the window blinds were broken, and the grill was on its last leg. Two outside chairs on the deck were broken and no others provided. Overall, this property needs a lot of work. Beware if you are going to rent it. Ask a lot of questions!

Great Home…..But

The house was awesome, the indoor pool and theater was a great feature. We didnt have to leave the house once. The only issue are the neighbors. They are all older and complained throughout the day because of the music even tho we were between the 8am-10pm time frame. It was my moms 60th bday so it wasn't like we had rap blasting. Thankfully it didnt create too much of an issue for us but can be for someone else. All and all tho great house and plenty of space.

Paradise in Lake Tahoe

This is a large house and fit my family just fine (8 adults and 5 grandkids), the indoor pool kept the kids busy for at least two hours per day, the hot tub was nice as well. Very quiet neighborhood and Dennis was always quick to return calls or emails when I had questions both before and during my stay. Hope to visit again someday!

Disappointed.

Rented this property a few weeks back, super disappointed. The stove didn’t work, a low battery beeping from a battery powered door lock would go off every 15mins, the pool heater was not on, the code for the hot tub didn’t work and the property management POC was no where to be found. On top of that I was giving the wrong address and found out a day before. There was construction debris outside and in one of the bathrooms. Will not stay here again

Great place to stay!

A large group of us stayed here for 3 days on a ski trip. The sauna was great to come back and warm up after a day on the slopes! Plenty of room for a large group without being on top of each other. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot for a family vacation!

We had a great time at this property. With friends and family flying in from different places, this was just the place to hang out, enjoy each others company, and still have enough room for you to sneak away when you need some quiet time. The kids had a blast in the pool and couldn’t get enough of the movie theater. There was also some great hiking trails walkable from the house. Quiet neighborhood, so you don’t get kept up all night from parties in the area. While we were here in the summer, I’m sure there is just as much to do in the winter. Can not wait to come back to Tahoe again, such a special place!

We enjoyed our stay, the movie room was a plus, we enjoyed the yacuzzi also. Could not go in the pool, too cold, the Manager sent someone to fix it but it did not work. There are some items that need repairing, only one good chair in the deck, and deck was being repaired. For the price we paid, we were expecting everything to be in working condition. We did managed and enjoyed our stay

Family Reunion

Overall, we enjoyed this property. It is in a lovely location and had everything we needed and then some. The property could use some basic maintenance but everything was clean and a good time was had by all.
