The main picture of the house from the street is deceiving. the front door from the main, busy road is about 20 feet. Constant 18 wheelers going back and forth from the mountain hauling lumber. Also, very difficult to walk in the neighborhood. The main road we were on is a curve. cars going by too fast.

Great winter cabin

Mountain retreat

This beautiful house is situated next to a national forest, is surrounded by hiking trails and beautiful views, but it is still within a five minute drive of shops and restaurants in South Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Nice home, but…

First of all, the house itself is nice with lots of space. However, the drive way was a solid sheet of ice, which was dangerous. Due to the driveway being downhill, we couldn’t park cars on the driveway without them getting stuck. Several members of our group had to pay for parking elsewhere due to this. When we called the property manager, they just told us we should have 4WD/AWD (which we did). We then received a call from their “local team” who dropped off ice melt and told us to use shovels to chip away the ice ourselves. We were also not informed that the hot tub would be unavailable during our stay, so we were surprised to find it completely inaccessible (appearing to be brand new, still in the shipping materials). All in all, nice house, but terrible property management and awful communication.

Great House and Close to South Lake Tahoe Activities

Stayed here in mid July. This is a really nice and well-appointed two story house with master upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Although there really is no view of the lake, the back deck is still a very scenic private place to relax in the mornings. It's a little too warm in the afternoon because of the sun exposure. The house has AC...which is a must in the summertime, but we found the upstairs to be warm in late afternoon anyway. Downstairs was always nice and cool. Kitchen comes with just about everything you need, and the family room is super comfortable. Two car parking garage was a big plus! We really liked the place and would sure consider staying here again. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of upstairs being a bit too warm in the afternoon (and into the evening) and no view of the lake, but this is not a deal breaker. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

What a home to come back to after your adventures! Perfectly equipped for large family cooking, Outstanding beds, linens and breathtaking nature! Hot tub didint work and was not repaired during our stay.

Great family getaway

The house was bigger and nicer than we even expected and was a perfect getaway for us to all spend time together as family. Wish we could have used the hot tub but we will be back and hopefully the Covid situation is under control and we can take advantage. The grill was a great thing to have and we used it to make a great dinner! Very nice and really comfortable.

Perfect home in perfect location

We loved this house from the moment we stepped inside! The absolute cleanest property we have stayed in. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook up meals every day. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for our end of the day s’mores. Close to trails we biked and hiked on several days. Can’t wait to return!

Confusing

The place is nice. I liked it. Clean and next to nature. Critical note: signs everywhere informing us of rules and consequences AND not one note on how anything works. Hot tub took two days to get it to heat up. Tv had 3-4 remotes without instructions. Upstairs was warm but no downstairs thermostat and freezing. We did end up with everything working. I just wonder if management cares Enough to right out a book of instructions.

Thanksgiving Stay

We just stayed with our adult son for Thanksgiving week and found the house to be absolutely lovely and exactly as pictured. The home was immaculate and very well appointed. We had a little trouble getting the hot tub to work at first, but Vacasa responded quickly and after a little follow-up, dispatched the maintenance guy to check it out, on Thanksgiving Day. Mani the maintenance guy, was very efficient and personable. He went out of his way to make sure that we were well taken care of and had everything that we needed. It snowed pretty heavily, while we were in Tahoe and Mani made sure the driveway was plowed and kept the driveway and walkway as free of snow as possible. All in all, our stay in this home, was everything we had hoped a week in Tahoe would be. We were cozy by the fire, enjoyed use of the hot tub and were able to prepare and enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. We would LOVE to rent this home again next year!

Awesome house with all the amenities. Master is upstairs with a great 2 bedroom (studio like) space downstairs. Garage fits two cars very comfortably and how can you beat the hot tub on the patio?

Beautiful Cabin

This place was amazing! Rained the couple of days we were there so didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but the house was immaculate, and the activities you can do at the house or nearby are great. Hope to book it again on future trips. Thanks for everything!
