“Staying here was an amazing experience and everything we needed for a quick trip to Ellensboro and Shelby area. Karen was amazing in meeting with and us when we arrived and also showing us around the property/facilities. “The most pet-friendly place we’ve stayed. A clean, fenced backyard, a balcony/deck with good railings (no worrying that a dog might fall off), one of the bedrooms on the first floor so we didn’t have to use the stairs. The property was private, so we didn’t need to worry about neighbors. A well-stocked kitchen was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“The pictures of this house don’t do it justice — it is very well maintained, clean and stocked with everything needed for a relaxing, cozy stay. The host was very helpful and communicative when needed. “This property was perfect for a mountain getaway. This cabin and throughout the neighborhood had spectacular views. The cabin is easily assessable for someone that cannot climb stairs since there are none, and you can park right in front of the door which made it nice for my elderly mom who has terrible balance. “The frame on the bed came apart, dumping the futon onto the floor. The closet is so small, I had to drag the futon outside to re-set the wheels into their tracks on the frame.
