“My sister and I have been wanting to take a trip to the Keweenaw Peninsula for years and finally got a chance to go. Luckily I found this beautiful rental!! It is literally perfect! You won’t regret renting it, and I can’t wait to visit again. There was one issue with the passkey- unfortunately we were not able to get there until almost midnight. “This was money well spent. Bedrooms were big, living area, kitchen, bathroom were great and clean. Plenty of dishes and utensils to use the kitchen. Location is a short drive to plenty of tourist things to do and places to eat. We would stay here again for sure.”

“This rental apartment was perfect. My college friend and I came up for our first snowmobile trip of the year This place is literally right on the atv/snowmobile trail. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property owner, Vernon, responded within minutes to all questions. “Didn’t seem like a bad area but all of the business buildings are not businesses anymore. The property is in an old building, which is unique and the idea is great. The problem is that the unit smells very strongly of old building. I felt like it was not clean because of the smell. Cool idea but I would not stay again”

“The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit.”

“This place was wonderful, highly recommended. I ended up staying just over a week and needed to extend for a few days. Luckily it was available and the owner was really responsive and helpful. It was truly a home away from home. Super comfortable, very clean, had everything we needed and we cooked every meal. We really loved this place. Would definitely come back here if we come to the area again!”

“My grandson and I loved it! Very clean and cozy. I used to live in a similar apartment in a nearby town so in a way it felt like home. Well stocked and well thought out. I was also surprised how close it is to "downtown" Calumet. We'll be back!”

“We stayed here while in town for our daughter’s wedding. The reception was right across the street at the Fire Hall. Obviously the location couldn’t have been any better! We had our 7 mo old grandson also and when he was fussy we had plenty of space to push him around in his stroller. Vern was a great host, very quick to respond to questions!”

“Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better!
