“We had a family room which was very luxurious for two people. Comfortable, spacious and with 3 windows overlooking the quayside. Everything clean, with well thought out design in bathroom etc. Highly recommended.”

“What an amazing place to stay!!! The staff were exceptionally friendly. Everything ran smoothly. The room in the hotel was spacious with a kitchen area. We requested a room suitable for my mum who has mobility issues and the room we got was perfect- no steps, near thw restaurant and with a little outside patio area. Perfect location for the town and me and daughter easily walked in via the beach and the road. Great spot for surf. A really laid back place to stay. ”

Only thing I would say is that some basic instructions for the combi oven would be helpful as we were never sure if we had the right setting! 😂 and perhaps some softer pillows as they were on the hard side. “I have not stayed here for years and was surprised to see that its still a Brend Hotel ( family hotel). I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)”

“We got there for 4:45pm and our room wasn’t ready, apparently, apparently check in is “from” 4 and doesn’t mean it will be ready at 4 ???? This is the second time we have stayed, we previously stayed when it was under a different name, there has been lots of improvements though and you can see they are trying to make it better. We only used it as a 1 night base because we had plans for days either side, was perfect just for a 1 night stay asking as you prepare your self for no thrills. Kids...
