Hotel vicino a South West Coast Path Section 5 Trailhead - Braunton

“Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.”

“Great food. Lovely warm pub. Great staff.”

“We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door. The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. It is close to all the amenities Appledore has to offer. It is an ideal base to discover North Devon, which is beautiful. The garden...

“Excellent location. Great view. Comfortable room. Outside area could be more presentable.”

“Lovely property just perfect for our two night stay. Great central location. We had a great break and the weather was lovely”

“We staied onky 1 night but everything was perfect. Even the dinner at the restaurant. Very very satisfied”

“Very friendly. I was assisted up the stairs with a suitcase. One problem was that I couldn't drop the suitcase at the front door of the hotel as there was no entry signs at each end of the road so I had to trundle my case from the car park. I may have booked a nearer car park had I known.”

“Great spot for a traditional English experience. The staff are fantastic and helpful. I recommend the breakfast option; it has a great hot menu, and you'll get much more than just the buffet table. Rooms are clean and have all the essentials. The area is very central. It certainly appeals to an older demographic. If you're fine with that, this is a wonderful experience. Well maintained and managed.”

“On arrival, the staff were really helpful and polite. Parking was conveniently situated across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom had a cosy feel with lots of character and was nice and clean. The beautiful sitting room was a lovely space to relax. We ate in the bar area and the food was very good, as was breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.”

“Fantastico. Ti danno le chiavi e sei completamente autonomo”

“Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più, in base alle foto e alle recensioni.”

“Everything the hotel lacked wss completely made up by the excellent service offered by Margueite. Thank you for your efforts and understanding.”

“Lovely little apartment.. very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable! Hot tub was lovely and we sat in it and watched the sunset over the sea. Complex is quite run down but work is ongoing to improve the facilities. A manual for the hot tub would have been useful having never used one before.”

“Good hotel”

“The room, was filthy dirty, bed sheets smelt of mould wet dog. Cups dirty with coffee stains. Toilet filthy. Shower filthy, floor so dirty made your feet black. Walls all damaged. Smelt really bad in the room. Balcony outside extremely dangerous and broken. Floor uneven. No lights in the dark. Extremely noisy. Beds uncomfortable. Stains on sheets. Dust and dirt every where. The towels didn’t smell clean. Extremely unhappy. I didn’t take hardly any photos to proved as I’m sure the staff know.”

“Welcome was great with a cup of tea. Very friendly. Beautiful quiet, rural farm setting. Pet friendly. Totally suited our needs with easy access to Barnstaple, Instow, RHS Rosemoor.”

“L'Hotel è molto confortevole ed il personale molto efficente. La città di Barnstaple non offre molte attrattive ma è in una posizione strategica per effettuare una visita del Nord Devon. L'Hotel è dotato di un ampio parcheggio interno gratuito.”
