“There was BLOOD ON THE MAIN LIGHT SWITCHES as shown in the photograph attached and time stamped at our arrival There was a baby cockroach!!!!!! Crawling on the floor as seen in the video. And saw many more crawling around?!?! There was SOMEONE ELSES PUBIC HAIR IN THE SHOWER?! As seen in the photo and BLOOD!!! On one of the towels. “No toiletries in bathroom, used coffee cups in room. Beach sand on beds, broken toothpick in bed, dirty wash rag still in bathtub, had to ask desk for extra towels and wash rags. No one from housekeeping came by to restock anything until the evening before we checked out, parking for hotel was advertised $23.00 dollars a night but I was charged $25.00. This place was a huge disappointment. The only thing positive to mention was the view from the room. ”

“The Cove hotel was clean & staff were always friendly. One issue - We were not notified that the pool was ripped out and under construction until October 2026. I happened upon a recent review to find out this information. Fortunately, after calling, the hotel right next door (Plantation Island) are letting guests from The Cove use their pools at no charge! They have 2 large pools (1 heated), 3 hot tubs and a kiddie pool. The Cove responded quickly to any requests I had and offered express check...

“The remote didn't work for the VT. They gave me 2 other remotes. They allowed me to change the channel until it decided not to.
The people across the hall had the volume up so high that I could hear it in my room. Management fixed the issue. As for sleeping. Not much with a dog barking in the middle of the night and other noises coming from the hallway.”
