Un rifugio accogliente sull'isola di Southport

Questo grazioso cottage sul lungomare recentemente rinnovato, si trova sull'Isola di Southport, di fronte al ponte girevole del porto di Boothbay. "Pervinca" brilla con decorazioni fresche costiere e pavimenti in legno. La prima di due camere da letto offre la possibilità di un letto king size o due letti gemelli extra lunghi. La seconda camera ha un letto singolo. Il soggiorno ha un divano letto full size.

Il portico coperto e il ponte della darsena offrono i luoghi perfetti per rilassarsi guardando il ponte aperto per il passaggio delle barche e ascoltando musica dal vivo dal molo di Robinson attraverso la baia. Cammina lì per cenare o prendere le aragoste, le altre offerte del Down East e le tariffe dei proprietari.

I punti di interesse entro circa 2-4 miglia includono Dogfish Head Beach e Hendrick's Head Lighthouse, Boothbay Harbour (ristoranti, negozi, gite in barca, golf, YMCA), Maine State Aquarium e Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.

Exceptional stay at your exceptional cottage. You are a wonderful host. Everything is perfect just the way it is, trapped in better times and for that reason I was healed. This was our 2nd stay here, we went back to Pinkhams market to get stuffed halibut and lobsters to cook, went on a sailboat ride which was great! Went to ocean Point and walked on the rocks a bit, found the best wings at Pier 1 Pizza. I am looking forward to another stay! Thank you!

Down home on the bay.

Adorable spot. Classic and cozy seaside cottage with the amazing boat house as an extra bonus. We walked to Robinson’s Wharf every night. Delish! We wanted to stay longer, oh well, next time!

A gem of a cottage

Periwinkle was a cute, clean getaway. Julie was waiting for me when I arrived and gave me lots of tips on where to go, where to eat etc. I had a problem with the TV and Tom stopped in to guide me through it. I loved my stay there!

2024 vacation

Everything was amazing, just as described. Very quiet and relaxing. The boat house was an extra surprise, loved walking out back and hanging out on the dock watching the swing bridge and the lobsters being hauled up from the boats to the restaurant. Judy was great! Thank you!

Loved the house and the view, the house was perfect for what we needed. the view from the pier was amazing, the mangers of the property were awesome deal with and could not have been more helpful. wish i could give it more than 5 stars!

Peaceful Retreat

This cottage is the perfect getaway if you are looking for relaxing, peaceful vacation. The cottage is in a very quiet neighborhood but is close to many great things to do and eat within a short drive.

Towel rack in bathroom coming loose from the wall ( it was liked that when we arrived) Tv keep going in and out and wifi did not work! was not upset about the TV as we did not come there to watch TV but would have helped to have a strong Wifi for googling activities in the area! Wonderful Cabin on Southport Island

This cabin is just right for a couple. There is a large bedroom with a king bed and a small bedroom with a single bed for storing luggage and clothing. The kitchen is well equipped. The view from the deck is so picturesque. It overlooks a small harbor with Robinsons restaurant. The tide varies for 8 to 10 feet and is fun to watch coming in and going out. There is a swing bridge which can be seen from the dock. The cabin is just a couple of miles from downtown Boothbay Harbor, but is in a quiet area. It is just a few miles from the Maine Botanical Garden, which should not be missed. We will stay again!

Little Oasis

This cottage is so peaceful. It is exactly like the pictures. We were able to have coffee out by the water every morning. We walked to Robinsons Wharf restaurant and had dinner on the outside deck. Judy was great! She met us at check-in and gave us a tour of the cottage and outdoor spaces. She also gave us information needed to know where everything is located, from grocery stores to leisurely things. We will definitely be back! Donna

lovely cottage on the harbor in Southport Maine

Such a wonderful place! Wendy the property manager was so nice and communication with her was so easy. Lovely views of the harbor from the house, comfortable beds and furniture. We so enjoyed our coffee on the porch each morning watching the lobster boats go out. You can see the swing bridge from the house and it was interesting watching the boats go through when the bridge slid open. Will definitely be going back. A definitely thing to see is the Maine Botanical Gardens.

23rd Wedding Anniversary!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The view was spectacular and the cabin provided everything we needed! It was the perfect spot for writing and relaxing! We've visited the Boothbay Harbor area for greater than 10 years, so this visit was especially about getting away- our 1st travel since the pandemic, relaxing, and being inspired. We made contacts in town and look forward to returning in the fall of 2022 for some author events, and hope to stay at Periwinkle while we're there!

A cozy cottage with a view.

We enjoyed our visit to Southport, Maine and our stay at Periwinkle Cottage. Everything was comfortable and functional. The boathouse deck and chairs allowed for relaxing while enjoying a great view. Being just a short walk from Robinson's Wharf was nice, too.

Wonderful stay!

This was a great little place to stay. We had a really nice time. Enjoyed the cottage and surrounding area. The boat house and dock were a nice addition. And topping it all off was the property managers being attentive and responsive to one small issue we had. Thanks for a great stay! We'll be back for sure.

Beautiful property, wonderful host

The property was so beautiful, clean and comfy. It was so peaceful having lunch on the dock and watching the boats pass by. The host were wonderful, we found their suggestions of things to experience locally and loved everything we tried. We loved our stay and would stay again!
