Great condo for a solo trip with my dog! The unit was clean and comfortable. The building was very peaceful, quiet and secluded from traffic but close enough to walk to the riverfront in 10 minutes. It’s not the most equipped kitchen, if you plan to cook you might want to consider taking a cutting board, knives and whatnot. But if you want a home base to enjoy the local eateries, shops, and scenery, you can’t beat it. The pool is lovely and just a couple of buildings away. Oak Island is less than 15 minutes by car. 10/10 stay, I will definitely be back!

Love this town!

Our first time staying in Southport, and we had a great trip for our anniversary. This place was perfect for the two of us. All the restaurants, waterfront, and shops were in walking distance. Great place to stay!

Great Location to enjoy the town of Southport

This condo was very conveniently located to be able to walk to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. It was comfortable and clean and we would definitely stay here again.

Southport Retreat

Great location in downtown Southport. Short distance by car to restaurants and shops. The condo complex was hidden in the live oaks. Very quiet location. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time. Went back to my home town. Property was great location and so wonderful. Getting in and out was an easy process can’t say enough good. You won’t be disappointed

Wonderful stay

This condo was perfect. It was in a great location in Southport. The apartment was beautiful and clean, and it had everything you needed. The bed and linens were comfy. The parking was great, and it was covered. The neighborhood was quiet. It was a perfect stay and we hope to come back!

Relaxation

Loved the quiet location. Fully stocked kitchen and close to shops and restaurants. Wonderful king size bed that my husband and I didn’t meet in the middle! A new go to spot for sure.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay

I very much enjoyed my stay at Whiskey Bent . The condo was very clean and supplied well for my needs . The location is perfect and within easy walking distance of the downtown and marina areas of Southport. Will book again in the future .

Check-in was the smoothest I've seen. The condo is equipped with a digital door lock. Check-in comes down to a message giving you the code. The condo is well equipped and everything was clean - bright, shiny, and spotless. The location is fantastic. It is located in a residential area about a 15-minute walk from the shops and restaurants of the Southport downtown area, river walk, and yacht basin. If there was any downside at all, it was communication after reserving and before arrival instructions. I will sometimes ask a host questions about the area. I asked one of those shortly after we made our reservation and never received a reply. That's a minor negative compare to the quality of everything else, but we know it can be important to some.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. It’s within walking distance of the water, shops, restaurants. We couldn’t figure out how to work the tv however, we didn’t really need it during our stay (we just like for background noise). We hope to be back again!

Fantastic!

Loved our 4 night stay in this beautifully kept condo! Clean and perfectly stocked for cooking! The only thing missing was a cutting board! The location is perfect for walking to town and enjoying the great restaurants! I would definitely love to stay there again! Thank you so much!
