  • Apple Cottage è una casa affascinante e confortevole due camere da letto con alcune delle migliori viste sul mare e le montagne sul Monte Desert. Situato in una posizione tranquilla alla fine di una strada privata, è il luogo perfetto per fuggire da tutto! La casa confortevole e accogliente è stato recentemente arredato e può ospitare quattro persone. Sedersi sul nuovo ponte e godere aragosta fresca durante la visualizzazione di regate e imbarcazioni di passaggio. La casa si trova a breve distanza dal Parco Nazionale di Acadia preferiti sentieri di Wonderland e navi Harbor e soli cinque minuti di auto dal delizioso villaggio di Southwest Harbor. A breve distanza ci sono le molte opportunità ricreative del Parco Nazionale Acadia, con la sua vasta rete di sentieri escursionistici e strade carrozzabili. Ci sono molte opportunita per fare escursioni, in bicicletta, in kayak, vela e per esplorare le molte delizie di Monte Isola Deserta.

    Layout: Ampio, bel soggiorno con vista sull'oceano e scorrevole ampia porta di accesso al ponte. Cucina separata. Tavolo da pranzo può ospitare 6. La camera da letto principale ha un nuovo letto matrimoniale. La seconda camera ha nuovi letti a castello per due adulti (o due bambini). Tutti i mobili e arredamento nuovo nel 2012. Il bagno oversize comprende una cabina doccia. Nuova lavatrice e asciugatrice, TV, centrale termica. Cucina è dotata di lavastoviglie, piano cottura e nuovi refigerator e forno a microonde.
    Deck, ricostruita nel 2013, è area e sedie, grill a gas e tavolo da pranzo lettura con ombrellone e sedie,
    Servizi: L'isola Explorer, un sistema di bus gratuito tutta l'isola, si ferma a pochi passi dalla casa e può ospitare biciclette. casa si trova vicino al parco nazionale di fama Acadia, vicino al centro del paese Southwest Harbor con negozi, ristoranti e sterlina aragosta. Barca a vela, barca a motore, biciclette e noleggio di kayak disponibili localmente. Mezz'ora da Bar Harbor e Northeast Harbor.

Maine cottage getaway

We loved the cottage and it was a great way to explore Acadia! This was our first trip to Maine and we can’t wait to come back. Mt kids loved playing in the ocean just a mins walk from the cabin.

Quietude cottage

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was the perfect size for our family and gave us easy access to all of Acadia NP. It's located on the quietsude if the island which we really appreciated at the end of full days of hiking around ANP.. My kids really enjoyed the easy access to the water to investigate all the tides pools at low tide as well. Would definitely stay here again if we had the chance.

Small cottage was great home base for exploring this majestic island. Works well for families with small kids that want to be outdoors a lot. Owner was responsive and quickly tended to our needs during the trip!

Plan to Return!

Location is great on the quiet side of the island and numerous eateries are location fairly close by. The deck is a fabulous location for enjoying your morning coffee while watching the boats go by. Access to the beach is excellent and there is beauty in the simplicity of the layout of the cottage itself. We plan to return!

The location was central to everything! The house was simple and very clean! We had everything we needed. Anne got back to us right away and provided a great deal of information. We LOVED our time in Maine and Apple Cottage.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Apple cottage. The cottage was spacious for a family of four and very quiet. The location was superb, with beautiful coastal and natural surroundings. Watching from the porch the sunrise over the water was something. Would come back again if we have a chance.

Recent visit

This was our second visit to Seawall. Location is great for hiking in Acadia and we enjoyed fabulous weather. Kitchen is not equipped for elaborate cooking, but was fine for making simple meals which is all we felt like after hiking all day!

Beautiful stay with nature

Had a wonderful week with great weather! Apple Cottage is perfect for us!! Enjoyed our visits with the deer! So graceful! Had a surprise visit by a gaggle of 14 turkeys! Great place to relax but close enough to visit the parks. So happy that Seawall was fixed!! Great place to picnic!

The Apple Cottage was beautiful. It is oceanside and set on a property that is secluded and peaceful. Deer visited us morning and evening, adding to the relaxed feeling. It was on the quiet side of Acadia but close enough to all of the Park to make hiking and other activities accessible. We plan to return in the future.

2nd stay at Apple Cottage

This was our second stay here at the Apple Cottage. My husband and I returned this year with my mother. She was in awe of the view as much as we had been. We spent most of the time on the deck taking in the view and watching the deer if we weren’t out visiting the park. It was as lovely as the first time we were there.

Acadia Visit

Loved the quiet location with a view of the water. Property was clean and had everything we needed. It was a great base for visiting Acadia NP and a cozy retreat for those inevitable foggy, rainy days; so much nicer than a hotel room. Host responded immediately when we our access code didn't work.

Loved it

Enjoy the location of the property it was right on the water. We watched it fishing boats come and go. Also, enjoy the ducks and sea fowl. Roaming deer feeding on apples daily in the yard.

Lovely quiet little slice of heaven

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and making our first trip to Maine. This home was just what we were looking for, Close enough to various locations of Acadia National Park but tucked away from the crowds. The deck with the view of the water while observing the visiting deer was our favorite place to be after waking with our morning coffee or returning after hiking or visiting Bar Harbor. We enjoyed our time at Apple cottage and hope to return one day.

Lovely Maine Vacation

Apple Cottage is a cozy, quiet, waterfront cottage that made a great home base for our visit to Acadia NP, Bar Harbor and other nearby sights. The kids enjoyed hunting for sand dollars and sea glass during low tide on the rocky shore in front of the cottage. Anne is a great hostess and provided detailed information on hikes, things to do and places to eat. She was very attentive to questions both before our trip and when I had quick questions while we were there.

Wonderfully relaxing

We had another wonderful 2 weeks at “Apple” cottage on the coast of Maine. This was our second stay at this property in Southwest Harbor. The views of the water and boat traffic were terrific. The cottage was very comfortable and we had daily visits from the island deer. We also saw a large flock of wild turkeys—twice! We love the “quiet side” of the island and the location and comfort of the cottage.

Perfect Quiet Side MDI for family of 4

Our host was very informative not only in preparation of our stay but also with the binder provided with information on hikes and food. The cottage was a perfect size for the 4 (2 adults, 14 year old and 11 year old kids) of us. I enjoyed my sunrise coffee on the deck along with the local deer. We loved checking out the beach at low tide while hunting for sand dollars and seaglass. Very easy checkout as well. Great location, will recommend to others.
