Cottage a Southwest Washington

“This house was everything that was advertised and more. Clean, spacious, comfortable, safe, great location, and had every amenity you could ask for - full kitchen with spices, tea, sugar, salt/pepper, blender, toaster, cofffee mate, coffee grinder, french press, dishwasher, propane grill, microwave, and lots of pots/pans/knives/serving dishes, etc.; wood buring stove, ceiling fans, electric heat, air purifier, soft throws, bean bags; and they even had laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo, dish...

“Not sure if VRBO , EXPEDIA or the host were responsible but the house was booked out from under us. We did not find out until late afternoon the day of check in. We were stranded 2 hours away from home. All hotels in the area were booked because of Fathers Day weekend. Yes, I did get a full refund. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Not sure I will ever use any of them again”

“The house was adorable on the inside and had everything we needed. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of some safety issues with the stairs. The steep stairs to the attic lack a handrail and the older members of our family didn't feel comfortable going up there. I was nervous about our 2 kids going up and down those stairs as well. The 2 sets of steps leading from the kitchen and dining room into the living room are scary too. The second step is short and the edge is curved making it...

“The cabin has a nice well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with nice towels and blankets. However, the heating unit downstairs needs repair which was not great as it got really cold the last night of our stay. The fire pit is lovely but the chairs need replacing because they are mostly cracked from the sun and one broke at the back. We communicated with the owner about dead batteries and missing remotes but there was no followup. ”

“We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back! It was very nice, very clean and had everything we needed. The only issues were parking and not having central air conditioning. Although there is parking inside the garage and driveway, it was a very tight fit for both. I was in a minivan, but barely fit and didn’t want dings since it was a rental. As for the a/c, we’re from Texas so that’s all we’re used to. The house had a window unit and a portable ac— one upstairs and one downstairs....
