“For what it is, a place to stay for cheaper than the hotels right outside rainier, but still not a bad drive. It’s a great choice. Nothing special but clean and nice staff.”

“Convenient location to Mt. St. Helens, Moulton Falls Regional Park, and Cedar Creek Grist Mill. We appreciated that dogs were allowed in special assigned rooms. If you want a balcony and a river view, you have to travel without your pup. The lovely garden path in the rear of the property has an incredible view of the river. It was a secret garden oasis in a busy part of town. Trains could be heard throughout the night, even with the air conditioner running—bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to...

“This was a basic old-style hotel. Exterior stairs and door. Beds reasonably comfortable. Dining nearby to get supper. No breakfast included. Mostly quiet.”

“Beautiful setting. The grounds were so nice to enjoy and the view from our balcony was perfect. Older lodge but the room was upgraded to still show original fixtures. Tall table and bar stools was a nice feature making it easy to sit and enjoy computers and cocktails.”
