    I Girasoli 160 m² (1722.2256667 square feet) all flat, bright with beautiful views. Ground floor composed of kitchen, 1 bathroom, pantry, laundry room, large living room with fireplace. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms with air conditioning, 1 bathrooms and closet. 3rd floor attic with 1 bathroom. From summer 2024 we have air conditioning. The apartment has a shaded terrace, equipped with table, chairs and deckchairs.Wine tour on request. Between the Chianti area and the Brunello area, both 40 minutes away. Golf club 2.5 km distance. "Eroica" bicycle route competition pass from the front street. hot spring wather fall 10 km distance

Luca and Lavazza were very good Hosts. Excellent stay. Luca made suggestions for dinner and wine tasting. Very enjoyable stay. Perfect after travel and days with in-laws in Florence for four days… Whew!! Definitely nice break

A Beautiful Home in the Tuscan Countryside

This property was a dream. We enjoyed it tremendously. Watching golden hour from the couch out the massive picture windows was a fantastic experience not to be missed! A perfect to location to explore Siena and some local wineries.

Beautiful views

We had a wonderful time at Luca and Letitia’s rental, only wish we could have stayed there longer! They were very accommodating and made reservations for us to go to a delicious wine tasting. The views were incredible and the rooms were spacious and clean. We hope to be back someday soon!

Superbe maison dans un environnement tranquille à 15 minutes à peine de Sienne. Letizia et Luca nous ont chaleureusement acceuilli. Maison très propre et typique.Normalement la piscine est à partager avec l'appartement d'à côté, mais nous étions les seuls locataires à ce moment là. La note général du site de 10/10 est méritée.Un grand merci à nos sympathiques hôtes.

Great home base for exploring Tuscany

Really spacious and quiet property, a short drive to Siena while also a great location for visiting other towns in the region. We all loved the incredible views, the pool, the hot tub... There are excellent restaurants nearby, and of course many more in Siena. The owner's mother lives in a nearby building and was entirely charming, and gave us great recommendations for a coastal side trip. Relax here and explore!

Beautiful setting

This vrbo is outside of a beautiful town with great restaurants. It is also not far from Siena. The countryside is so peaceful. Our kids loved the pool. There was plenty of space for our family of five. Luca is a wonderful host. We would highly recommend this property.

Es war so wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns auch schöne Tips für eine tolle Weinprobe gegeben. Die Umgebung hat dem entsprochen wie wir uns die Toscana vorgestellt hatten. Ich kann die Ferienwohnungen empfehlen.

Wonderful stay!

Comfortable accommodations and very accommodating owners. A/C would have been nice but we were fine with the fans. Luca and his wife were extremely helpful in getting us settled and seeing to it that we had everything we needed. It was very hot during our stay and the pool was a great relief from the heat. Luca took great care in recommending nearby "must-see" hilltowns and was spot-on with his suggestions. He even made a dinner reservation for us in Siena on a Saturday night and the food was delicious.

AMAZING VILLA!

Okay this place exceeded our epectations! It was beyond beautiful and the perfect Tuscan vacation villa for our large group of 5 adults. It had so much room and comfortable beds and could easily have slept at least 3 more, comfortably. It had that classic tuscan charm and great views of the countryside as well as a garden to die for. We all spent time admiring the rose bushes, various trees and flowers. Our host Luca, was WONDERFUL! He met us there and gave us a run down of the property and then helped us book dinner reservations in Siena and then wine tastings in Montepulciano. He was warm and amiable and easily reachable. The property is close to Siena and easily reachable by rented vehicle. Great location as a base. We loved every bit of our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back for sure!

Amazing pool which we had to ourselves all week. The owners Luca and Leticia were very helpful & lovely. It was nice to know that they were close at hand at the same time as feeling we were free to make ourselves at home. The only negatives were that it wasn't made clear from the photos when we booked that the third bedroom (which is a loft room) is open to the stairs with no door so there is a feeling of a lack of privacy. It also gets very hot up there. This coupled with the fact that the Aircon unit wasn't working properly meant that our daughter ended up sleeping in the spare bed in our room for the majority of our stay. It was a particularly hot week in August which also meant that we found it a bit hard to relax downstairs inside as the sofas were covered in a synthetic fabric and there wasn't Aircon downstairs. Overall though we had a very relaxing and memorable week exploring Siena and driving further afield to Volterra, Perugia and San Gim and watching all the birds and lizards in the garden.

Loved it!

I can’t say enough about what a great time we had staying at Luca and Letizia’s vacation rental. The setting is amazing, the house and property overlooking the hills to the south of Siena. We were just a few minutes from San Rocco a Pilli, where you have a few restaurants and a grocery store. The apartment itself is wonderfully done. Luca, an architect, did a beautiful job renovating the interior. There is plenty of space and in fact there was an entire bedroom our family of 5 didn’t even need to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. We made day trips to Pisa and Lucca and Siena is just a 10 minute car ride away. The best part of our stay, and something we get to keep, was making friends with our hosts. They are truly generous and kind people and I hope to stay in touch with them. Lovely location, lots of room and nice yard

The location of the house is remote and quiet with lovely views, while still near the small town of San Rocco a Pilli. There are several restaurants, a store and bakery there. The challenge was finding the house, as the host is not a great communicator (but his wife is lovely!) We really wanted to stay here due to the spa (hot tub) that was listed, but it never got hot (there is no cover, so no way to get it hot) and only a few jets worked, so that was very disappointing. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, but no supplies except sugar, salt and olive oil. So you need to buy all supplies. We had a cooking lesson and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. There are three bathrooms, one on each floor The downstairs one has a shower in the corner, but it works fine. Two bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds (comfortable) and a bathroom with shower and tub in between them. The third floor has 2 futons with a bathroom with a toilet and sink. (Good place for kids!) Overall it was a great house, but the host is a challenge. Luckily his wife is welcoming and engaging.

Very nice stay, friendly landlord!

We(2x young family) had a amazing holiday with luc's house, very nice decorated house with antique furniture, nice swimming pool and specially the warm whirlpool let us able to enjoy ourselves in the quiet evening. Luc and his wife is very friendly and the location is close to Siena city (15min car), I would recommend anyone who plan to stay in Toscana to rent Luc's house for stay!

Geweldig!

We hebben een geweldige week gehad met ons gezin in I girasoli, het huis ziet er goed verzorgd en smaakvol uit, van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtig uitzicht over de heuvels van Toscane, goed onderhouden tuin en mooi zwembad. Eigenaar is altijd bereid je ergens mee te helpen of van informatie te voorzien. Zeker een aanrader!

Fantastic stay!

Fantastic stay! Beautiful, clean accommodations and Luca is a wonderful, kind host. Mama de Luca brought us fresh strawberries to taste and Luca brought us homemade jam, lemoncello, and olive oil. He also arranged an unforgettable wine tasting for us. One of the highlights of our trip!

A complete Tuscan experience

Great, complete experience. We were looking for a location in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan landscape, with panoramic view, with traditional architecture but also comfort, including swimming pool and sufficient space for our teenagers. We found everything and even more. Luca Ierini is a great host and his wonderful presence has embellished our sojourn. He cooked for us the dinners, he accompanied us both to outlets and historical sites like San Gimignano or even vineyards for Chianti Classico/Reserva of Super Tuscan wine tasting and traditional accompanying food. The house was in perfect status, all amenities in perfect operational status, everything clean and demonstrating the know-how of hosting guests. The groundfloor contained a very generous living, with access to a beautiful terrace, while the kitchen was fully endowed for preparation of pretentious meals. The house is a former tobacco processing hall, transformed by the owner, with taste and precision. The location is perfect for being able to visit Sienna but also Montalcino, Montepulciano and other wonders of Tuscany, while still sleeping in the beautiful Tuscan landscape. We are proud of having built a friendship relationship with the owner and his wife - great people, great culture, great values - and we will definitely return to the location.

Like staying at our Italian friends

For our family with kids of age between 1 and 13 it was a wonderful experience at Lucas house. The stylish house and garden are caressed wonderfully and still provide a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. The warm welcome, the helpful tour guide attitude and great hospitality of the owner made our stay a great Tuscan experience. I can really recommend a stay!

Fantastic!!

We stayed 6 nights and used this as a home base for day trips around Tuscany. It is about 10-15 minutes south of Siena and fairly close to a highway. We could not have had a better time. The unit was clean, spacious and well equipped; note it is not air conditioned but there are fans upstairs and even though it was a hot week we managed fine. It is out in the countryside among several other homes, which is exactly what we were looking for. The vistas are spectacular from both the windows and the pool area. The town of San Rocco I Pilli nearby is charming and has most of what one might need other than a large supermarket – we spent a lot of time in the very good pasticceria there before heading out each day. The pool is shared with the other unit which is not necessarily obvious from the listing but this was not an issue at all and we were in it a lot of the time. We have boys 11,9 and 6 and they loved it. Luca and his family could not have been better hosts – they really made us feel like their guests rather than visitors. He helped arrange a wine tasting and tour of several towns. Payment and check-in/out were smooth and easy, even though we arrived 90 minutes later than we had promised! If we come back to the area again we would certainly stay here, it really made our visit to Italy feel special.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa with amazing views.

Luca and Letticia were wonderful. They met us at the villa and showed us around. They even left cakes and some food and water for us. My family of four including two grown sons were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and Luca arranged a wine tasting for us.

Estupenda estancia

Apartamento amplio, cómodo y acogedor en una bonita propiedad histórica, restaurada con gusto. Está en un paraje tranquilo y precioso, cerca de Siena, muy bien ubicada para visitar toda la Toscana. Luca ha sido un magnífico anfitrión y en todo momento nos hemos sentido muy bien atendidos. Un lugar para disfrutar, lo recomiendo sin dudarlo!

Erholsame Stunden, kommen gerne wieder

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem zentral zum Einkaufen, Ausflüge machen oder Sienna besuchen. Pool ist herrlich und Zimmer optimal und mit viel Liebe ausgestattet. Lediglich ein oder zwei Sonnenschirme mehr wären eine kleine Verbesserung. Luca und Letizia sind immer gerne bereit zu helfen oder Auskunft zu geben. Haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Tuscan relaxation
