Mountain Cabin with Views of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Piedmont

Retreat to this 2-story log cabin that sits high above the Blue Ridge Parkway and offers views of Pilot Mountain and the Piedmont. The upper level has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a large open, vaulted ceiling living space. You can enjoy early morning reading in the cozy reading nook. Enjoy lots of fun on the lower level with the large bar and pool table. There is 1 bedroom on the lower level complete with an ensuite bathroom with heated floors. Both levels are surrounded by large decks where beautiful panoramic mountain views can be enjoyed.

Awesome view

The drive up was fantastic. Once we were there and walked in we were amazed! The views from the porches was breathtaking. Loved waking up to the sunrise and watchung the stars in the sky and lights from across the mountains.

Camp Cheerio Pick Up

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful views and close proximity to Camp Cheerio. Enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and the grill. Our dogs also enjoyed the wrap around porch in the back that was enclosed! Cake shop in Sparta was a big treat.

Relaxing Retreat

The property was private and had an amazing view. Although the cabin was beautiful inside and had everything we needed, we spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the view of the mountains and towns below. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Trip to NC Mountains

The property was great . We stayed there 2 years ago and the view is what drew us back . It is a very relaxing atmosphere and the cabin is set up in a cozy way . The trees have grown a lot in the past 2 years but we were still able to look around them for the great view !

My family and I celebrated my birthday weekend. The house has such a beautiful view of the mountains. We found ourselves relaxing on the wrap around deck the majority of the time. Great place for dogs! So relaxing and peaceful.

As many guests summarized, the pictures don't do justice for the amazing views at this cabin. Plenty of space, beautiful cabin, great place to relax. Loved the lower level with pool table, bar, TV and its own set of great views. Hope to return some day!

Very nice place

The views are incredible. I had very good communication with the host. The cabin is very well stocked so you feel like home . The cleanliness was good as well . This place is way up a mountain. We hope to be able to come back again sometime.Just wonderful.

Beautiful Cabin

This was a very beautiful cabin with such a stunning view. There were no issues with it and it was kept very clean, had a great weekend staying here. Only thing is make sure you are using a 4 wheel drive vehicle, the road is very steep and windy and is gravel as well.

Weekend in Paradise

This property is beautiful and absolutely worth the trek up the drive for those mountain views! Our group was comfortable and it was nice that each couple had their own bathroom. It needs a few super minor fixes here and there, but nothing that deterred from our wonderful stay. Will definitely book again the next time we're in Sparta! 10/10 recommended this cabin and the owners!

Amazing views

The cabin was perfect, very well stocked with everything you need. It was nice and clean and decorated nicely. The views are amazing, especially the sunrises. Matt and Samara communicated quickly with every question I had, great hosts. We have stayed in many VRBOs but this one just might be my favorite. Beautiful area and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I cant say enough good things about this place...ALL WAS GREAT!!! We will definitely go back again.

Gorgeous

As many other reviewers mention the pictures do not do this place justice. The views are outstanding, & watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning was a highlight of our trip. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable open space, & quiet neighborhood. Centrally located to allow for daily adventures less than an hour away to include Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Recreation Area, Mount Jefferson State Natural Area, & Grayson Highlands State Park. We loved our stay & hope to be back!
