“Max and Ursula were excellent hosts who made me feel really welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was really comfortable and perfect for what I needed. The Sunflower Lodge was in a great location and within walking distance of the centre and less than a 10 minute walk to North Pier! I would definitely stay here again!”

“We'd had a bad experience with another hotel requiring us to move at short notice. The service at here was infinitely better. Comfy spacious rooms with everything you'd ask for. “Gorgeous hotel in beautiful Yorkshire. Our 3 day stay was wonderful. Large comfy rooms with huge bed. Modern bathroom with walk in shower. Garden was perfect to sit in, with a cosy summerhouse. Breakfast was stunning - local produce, even down to the apple juice produced from their own orchard. Honey and jams all very local too, as were the ingredients of the cooked breakfasts. Bar stocks local beers and spirits. Andrew and Lucinda are perfect hosts. ”

“The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break”
