“The staff was incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms and restaurant and surroundings very good. The pool, however, was very chilly. Since this hotel is considered a resort, spending time in the pool is part of the enjoyment. You definitely had to keep moving when in the pool to keep warm. ”

“Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again.”

“Julie at the front desk was very friendly and personable when I checked in. I have to agree with her, the sunset from just across the street from the hotel is spectacular. There is possibly nothing better in the world than an English ocean-front sunset on a clear day. The hotel itself is very clean and charming and aesthetically pleasing.
