Hotel vicino a Spiaggia di Chocolate Lake - Halifax

“We stayed in the older part of the hotel overlooking the lake, so we had a great view every morning. There was a window open when we arrived, making the room fresh! The room had 4 or 5 good lamps or lights around the room, so everyone had good lighting! Breakfast was always available in the morning with real blueberries!! Staff were so friendly and kept everything so clean!!”

“Room was clean, parking is ok. We flight from Toronto, arrived the hotel a hour before check in time, didnot check in. Some other hotels allowed to a bit earlier check in, but this hotel has strict rules. Two key pads were provided in a small envelope, found one damaged and wrapped with tape when using it, went back to the office, the staff added another tape in stead of replace the pad.”

“Had a pleasant stay at the Atlantica in June. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious. The location was good and views from the room were pleasant. We would stay there again.”

“No air conditioning, which really wasn’t all that bad since we could open the window. The mini fridge just froze everything even on the lowest setting. TV did not work even after asking about it. The insulation in the building must be ancient because we heard everyone all the time coming and going above us and beside us. The room was clean. Wouldn’t stay again because of the amount of noise. Didn’t sleep for 2 nights.”

“Lovely room, but maid service didn’t show up until after 3:00, and we were already back from our day by then. The bathroom door didn’t lock properly. We had a plumbing problem but that was quickly fixed. Nice hotel, but in this price range i should not experience any problems”

“This hotel is in an excellent central location, the staff are all extremely kind and friendly, the views from the rooms are lovely, the rooms are very well appointed, beds comfortable, amenities great! We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!”

“Breakfast was amazing, rooms were clean and spacious. Location was great to get to Halifax activities. We rented a car so the drive was not hard or far to get to the waterfront. Would definitely stay again. Great value for price.”

“"Welcome" Staff were AMAZING! Loved our room (Executive King?), large, great amenities, wonderful bed. Onsite restaurant twice for breakfast - first time food and service were great, second time the staff appeared overwhelmed, experienced a long wait and the restaurant was not busy, with less than 1/3 tables occupied. Close to sites, great nearby restaurants. Would recommend and return.”

“Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. The room was quite nice and the bathroom was clean and updated, with a flashy lovely anti fog mirror. The bed was comfortable (very high) but the pillows were all over-stuffed- not a selection of flatter and fluffier. The heater/cooler is the old fashioned type that rumbles, loud+++.
