“Where do I start? Patricio met us at the airport with a smile, hug and a necklace of flowers. There followed a short car ride to Mara Hare Repa, where we are greeted by the owner, Marcello like two old friends with glasses of fresh juice.
Accommodation was basic but clean and bright. Perfect base for sleeping then going off to explore the island. In either direction a short walk to the sea with rock pools, Moai heads, surfing and eateries.

“The staff was lovely, especially Patricia. The room was clean and modern. Only two downsides: lack of hot water, and the Internet coverage was spotty, I think those things come with being in the most isolated place on earth! ”
