“My room was on the ground floor right next to the entrance and a lounge which I think was for the staff. It was very noisy! The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. “Beautifully appointed, traditional country inn. Superb location, good choice of drinks and an excellent menu. The locals, as well as the staff, are friendly and the rooms cosy. Breakfast is a treat, with excellent coffee and a good choice of dishes. All set on the beautiful and atmospheric Norfolk coast with easy parking. I look forward to returning ”
