“Best location on Koh Touch beach. We had no.19 wooden detached bungalow right at the front with garden and sea views. Beach area was cleaned every morning and plenty of sun beds. Quiet area but only a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure that we had a great stay. ”

“Les chambres (genre de mobile-homes) sont toutes les mêmes (avec un lit double + un lit simple) elles sont spacieuses ( mais très peu de rangements). Petit déjeuner buffet très correct, avec options salées et sucrées incluses. Nuits calmes. Prévoir insecticide car bcp de moustiques dans les chambres. Personnel très souriant et agréable. “Nice location, unique opportunity to live “on the tree”, excellent restaurant and staff, nice pool.”

“I got bitten by bad bugs. That's all! The service is generally very poor. The staff doesn't speak English. The amenities of the resort are not maintained properly (we had a rice plate in the pool bar, a bit of food falled on the bar and it stayed there for the whole length of our stay - 5 days). At the moment of the check out, the staff charged the bar expenses on our credit card twice and we are still fighting to get the money back. ”

“Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!”

“Great location - quiet end of the beach! The bungalows were lovely. Hospitality wasn’t great - not he warm welcome and customer service we’d had before coming to the islands. Sun beds on the beach were a great bonus although you need to get out early as there’s not enough for all paying guests.”

“Pro’s: perfect location, right on the beach at the quieter side of the pier. Large bungalows with a big bed and decent A/C. Con’s: the bathroom was pretty grim. We tried breakfast in the restaurant once and it was inedible, we had to go elsewhere.
