“So this is priced like the peninsula, however it’s just not there. The mattress is very good, the rooms are large, but the upkeep and standards aren’t there. I had used toiletries in the room and intermittent hot water. (I’m a western traveller) That said. The service is really good. The staff will go whatever mile you need them to. They are patient and kind. Stay here if the location is good for you, and you’re okay with a hotel that’s mostly tolerable, but roughly around the edges. ”

“Noisy. The hallway was noisy because the room soundproofing was poor.”

“The rooms are very spacious which is the best aspect of the hotel. The bathroom floor around the toilet was dirty and the shower and walls needed a scrubbing. The rugs in the room were filthy. The balcony floor was so dirty I tracked black footprints into the room after walking on it. ”
