“The property is in need of repair and I was in the top floor room so the internet wasn’t great the back of the remote was missing so had to hold the batteries in when using it and there were rips in the wallpaper”

“The location is unbeatable for the historic dockyard (30 mtr) and gunwharf quay and rail station. Good breakfast nicely cooked and tasty. The rooms are to a modern decor with fans for the heat, as there is no air con. We had room 25 which is small, but adequate. The bathroom is the smallest I have ever had with a basin that is tiny. Good shower cubicle that takes most of the space. We would stay there again but not in 25.”

“The hotel is situated in a residential area close to the seafront and within walking distance to good restaurants and pubs. The rooms are tight for two people with luggage and there are no lifts. There are a few properties associated with the hotel so I can only comment on the one beside the cabin garden restaurant that is part of the hotel and where we were located. The rooms are clean, the bed for two people was small. The doors in this building, unless people are considerate and close them...

“Convenient location to railway & maritime museum. Be prepared to bring your own tea, coffee, flannel, wash up brush/scrub. Information to operate the oven where not for the model provided, and we struggled to operate the dishwasher, so gave up on that. Also couldn't get the under cupboard lights to work in the kitchen.”

“A clean and comfortable room which had all we needed. Parking was in a nearby multilevel carpark, a 5 min walk away. Staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.”

“In realtà più che in albergo è una casa, in cui questi signori molto cortesi affittano le stanze. La camera a quattro letti, e meno male dato che il primo aveva le molle che uscivano dal materasso… il bagno piccolo ma pulito. Si parcheggia comodamente in strada a pochi passi. ”
