Property for up to 8 persons with private swimming spa heated pool and garden, located in a peaceful suburban area of Split, just about 8 km from the city center. The rental, entirely set for guests, is an ideal holiday home for families with children. NO PARTIES allowed!

This charming property offers a perfect blend of comfort and tranquillity. You can either enjoy your breakfast, coffee or a drink at the balconies with green valley view, relaxing, sunbathing or dining, or provide yourself a refreshing and calming escape at the private spa swimming pool.
The accommodation (140 m2 of indoor space) consists of two apartments with private entrances; overall 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and 2 balconies.

The apartment #1, located at the 1st floor, consists of two bedrooms, each with a king size bed, living room with a comfy sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (each with toilette and shower), and completely equipped kitchen.

The apartment #2, located at the 2nd floor, consists of one bedroom with a king size bed, living room with a double sofa bed, bathroom with toilette and shower, and completely equipped kitchen.

Kitchens are all equipped with stove, oven, fridge & freezer, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, and other kitchen utensils and kitchenware. Hair dryer, iron and washing machine are available in each unit. Both apartments are air-conditioned and provide WI-FI Internet connection as well as LCD TV with international channels. From the balcony/terrace of each flat, you can enjoy wonderful sunsets and beautiful views of the Zrnovnica river valley.

The outdoor area provides a fenced property with swimming pool and two-storey garden with barbecue, large dining table with chairs, sun loungers and showers. The heated pool (surface, 27 m2) is equipped with massage water jets and upstream swimming, combining pleasure, exercise and therapy facilities in one. Free of charge parking places are available in front of the entrance to the property.

LOCATION

The property is located in a peaceful Split city neighbourhood, about 8 km far away from the historical city center. This suburban area is called Zrnovnica, named after the homonymous river which is just few minutes walking distance from the property. Along the river there is a great relaxing area with paths where you can spend your time walking, jogging or simply enjoying the untouched nature and clean air. In the center of Zrnovnica, about 300 meters from the property, you will find markets, restaurants, post office and pharmacy.

The accommodation is ideal for a relaxing holiday, yet, located close to the city center of Split, and in perfect spot to explore the surrounding area. Among these, the mountain of Mosor offers spectacular views of entire Split area, including the nearby archipelago, as well as the hiking opportunities to mountain peaks and valleys. Mosor is a less than 10 minutes driving from the house (bus line available from the center of Zrnovnica as well) and you can enjoy the scenario arriving already at the small village of Gornje Sitno, located right underneath the mountain.

In less than 5 minutes-drive (convenient Uber taxi available for less than 4/5 bus tickets), you can reach the village of Stobrec, featuring one of the best sandy/pebble beaches in entire Split area. Stobrec is also known as a nice touristic place, with plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants. One of the activities that we recommend with departures from Stobrec is illuminated evening sea kayaking or stand up paddle tour.

Another must visit destination whilst staying here, is the city of Omis and Cetina river canyon, about 20 minutes-drive from the apartment. Omis is a charming medieval city with a great sandy beach, authentic houses, narrow streets and 2 famous fortresses (Mirabela and Fortica) with stunning views. From Omis you can also take the boat trip upstream the Cetina river to reach the breathtaking Radman's Mills, a lovely picnic place arose around the old mill and the summer residence of the rich Radman’s family in the 18th century. There, you can enjoy the unspoiled nature and have a swim in the river and/or have a traditional Dalmatian lunch at the old mill’s restaurant. The canyon of the Cetina river, protected landscape and natural heritage with plenty of rapids, waterfalls, hidden beaches and secluded coves is one of the most amazing canyons in Europe, offering great opportunities also for adrenaline sports such as Zipline, canyoning, kayaking or rafting. On your way back to Split make a short road deviation in the ancient “Republic of Poljica” to visit the statue of Mila Gojsalic and to enjoy the great panorama over the Cetina canyon.

The city center of Split is about 10 minutes-drive, convenient Uber taxi available as well as the local bus line (the bus station is about 100 meters from the property). From the city center of Split, where also the main city port is located, you can reach the nearby islands of Brac and Hvar in 1-hour ferry or catamaran ride. The medieval town of Trogir, UNESCO world heritage site, is also within 1-hour boat ride departing from Split. One of the best experiences we usually recommend to our guests is a 5-islands speed boat tour, a unique experience and opportunity to visit pretty much the most interesting places of Split archipelago.
