The Overlook Nook l Great View l King Bed l Fenced Yard
The Overlook Nook is a beautifully appointed single-story home offers comfort, charm, and sweeping city views. The spacious family room showcases a stunning panorama of downtown Spokane—perfect for relaxing while enjoying your favorite show or movie on the 55" Smart TV. Amazon Prime Video is included with your stay.
Both bedrooms are designed for restful nights, featuring comfy hybrid mattresses with soft cotton bedding. One bedroom offers a king bed and the other a queen, and each has its own mini-split unit so guests can customize their preferred temperature.
The dining room comfortably seats four and overlooks both the kitchen and the city beyond, making every meal a scenic experience.
Tucked away on the backside of the home is the sunroom, a cozy reading nook with its own TV overlooking the peaceful backyard.
For a fun surprise, a hidden door reveals a staircase leading to a “secret” upstairs bonus room—an inviting space for kids to play, or to just unwind, read a book, or enjoy a quiet show.
The home includes a well-stocked kitchen, a coffee and tea bar, a full-size washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Parking is convenient, with options both in front of the home and in the rear carport.
Step outside to the fully fenced and beautifully landscaped backyard, where you’ll find an inviting outdoor dining area with seating for four and a propane grill—ideal for al fresco meals and relaxing evenings.
The home is just a short stroll to the vibrant Garland District, known for its charming shops, local restaurants, and nostalgic small-town feel. During the summer, enjoy the Garland District Farmers Market every Tuesday from 3–7 p.m. The nearby bluff-top walking path is a favorite for dog walking, jogging, or leisurely family strolls with picturesque views.
DOGGIES/PETS:
We also welcome up to two well-behaved, house-trained dogs (one year or older) with a small additional pet fee. If your pup doesn’t quite meet these criteria, feel free to message us—special exceptions may be considered. If you include your pet on the guest count when the reservation is made, the fee has already been included. Sorry, no cats due to allergies.
The home has a convenient doggie door leading to the backyard for use by smaller pups.
PARKING & EV CHARGER
Parking is available in the carport behind the home or in front of the home. A courtesy Level 1 (110V) outlet is available in the carport for use by our EV guests.
FAMILY AMENITIES
• High chair and Pack-n-Play available upon request
~~~ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The stairway to the bonus room is original to the home (circa 1945) and may be challenging for guests with mobility concerns so please use extra care when navigating them.
For guests with a rating of 4.5 or lower, or reservations made within 24hrs of arrival, a copy of ID may be required. Extended stays (27+ nights): Copy of ID and signed rental agreement are required.
All supplies are limited to those on hand.
