Lakefront Sunset Harbor on Watts Bar Boathouse and Dock

Calling all families, anglers, and boating, and paddling enthusiasts. Peaceful retreat located on Watts Bar with year round, deep water right out the door. Two bedrooms with luxury king sized beds where you can watch the sun set over the mountains and lake. Boosts an extra bunk nook for the kids. It is only one hour from Chatt or Knoxville. Bring your boat and park it in the covered dock or use the 3 kayaks so your whole family can enjoy the water. Fully remodeled with all the amenities.

The house was perfect, but the stale cigarette smell was overwhelming. We arrived late on Friday, the bedsheets and comforter were so smoky, I struggled to sleep. Saturday morning I had to find a store to get air freshener and laundry detergent so I could wash the sheets a comforter. The house still has a smoky smell but constant spraying of air freshener helped.

Great view of lake

It's a nice property right on the lake, beautiful view. The interior was clean, but smelled quite musty upon arrival. The exterior chairs, tables, etc. were quite dirty, so we didn't get to use the porch and dock much. I don't know this for certain, but the appearance was that the exterior furniture hadn't been cleaned in a while

Fall break with the family

Overall- we were very satisfied with our stay! The lake, outdoor seating area and activities in the house were perfect for our family of 5 + dog. We had a wonderful time.

Sunsets over Watts Bar Lake

Overall lake house was great! Beds are very comfortable. Morning coffee on the dock was majestic. Some things to be aware of are stairs in house and down to dock may cause a challenge for older visitors or people that may have knee or hip issues. We have a 4 wheel drive pick up which we had no issues parking but small compact cars may have some trouble on driveway and road leading into house. Shopping and restaurants are few and far in between but if seclusion is what your seeking you have found the right place.

Wonderful trip!

We come out and stay on the lake every summer with kids, grand baby and dog. This is far one of the best places we have stayed. The guys love to go fishing and this was a great place to fish. Kids loved swimming! We will definitely do this place again next year. The host was great answered all are questions quickly. Loved it!

Very nice cabin on the water

Great view of Watts Bar Lake from all rooms. Easy access to the dock. Nice to sit in the chairs on the deck with a drink in hand and we saw a squadron of pelicans land right in front of us.

Wonderful Lake Weekend!

We loved staying at this lakefront home. The view from both levels of the house were spectacular. House was extremely clean inside - likely the most clean rental we have ever had. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. We appreciated the streaming services on the TV and wifi worked great. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. We had two 13 year old boys sleep in the bunk beds and they fit fine. The inside stairs to downstairs were a little steep and narrow. If you have mobility issues, it may be a concern, but was okay for us. Hand rails for the 2nd set of stairs and on the dock steps would be a nice addition in the future. Driving an SUV with a boat trailer is a bit of a challenge (but manageable) - there isn't a easy place to turn around on the road where the house is located. We were glad we dropped the boat in the water before bringing the trailer up to the house. We used the Rhea Campgrounds boat ramp which was close and easy. Having the personal dock for the boat was great.

GREAT HOST GREAT EXPERIENCE!

My fiance and i were planning a trip later in the year. We live in Florida and were threatened by a hurricane and the host made accommodations to let us come earlier than expected. They have a great home and beautiful property. The views and location were close to lots of hiking trails, and cities if you wanted to get different culture. I would highly recommend to friends and family.
