“Great building and location. Looks better in pictures that reality. It is tired and in need of a good cleaning and some better furnishing as some of them are cheap copies of classics and worn out. Breakfast horseshoe was pitiful. Untoasted slice of bread, some undercooked hash browns covered by powered eggs and cheap commercial gravy with slimy undercooked bacon. The fruit course was orange or cranberry juice. If your going to do breakfast that bad, just offer coffee and decent pastries. ...

“NICE QUIET ROOM WITH ADEQUATE TOWELS. MINI-FRIDGE DID NOT HAVE A FREEZER AREA TO RE-FREEZE COLD PACKS FOR OUR COOLER. COULD USE ANOTHER GRABBAR IN SHOWER ITSELF FOR STABILITY (WHEN SOAP IN ONE'S EYES, ETC.). NOT A LOT OF VARIETY/SELECTION WITH BREAKFAST BUT ADEQUATE. AC WORKED WELL, AND TEMP WAS ADJUSTABLE. WOULD RETURN FOR ANOTHER STAY IF IN SPRINGFIELD AGAIN. NO DIFFICULTY FINDING THE LOCATION EXCEPT GOOGLE MAPS WANTED TO SEND US TO "COMFORT INN & SUITES" NOT "COMFORT SUITES". THAT WASTED...

“Room was clean, had extra cot in room. This was extremely uncomfortable, think time to update cot mattresses. Room was on first floor and first time noise from other travelers were an issue. Still would recommend hotel maybe an off night”

“Recently refreshed, the lobby and rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Body wash and shampoo-condtioner combo (not separate s & c) available in the shower. Breakfast was good - eggs, waffles, pastries, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The stay was very nice and what you'd expect at a 2 star hotel. We would stay again.”

“Staff was very helpful. They answered questions, held my bags after checkout, scheduled and provided ride to train depot. Room was good. Food was very good at onsite restaurants (Lindsay's served breakfast and the pub and grill served lunch and dinner). One elevator was out of service and could have come in handy since the place was crowded.”

“Old, falling apart, questionable clientele. Next to a truck stop. We arrived at midnight and there were people hanging around the exterior and the hallways were noisy with banging doors and people in and out. There was an odd hair on the bed when I pulled down the sheet. The bathroom had peeling paint. The whole place gave me the creeps.”
