Siamo una grande casa nel cuore di Springfield, MO dove i nostri ospiti diventano famiglia sulla storica via della noce. Che cosa porta ospite per noi la prima volta è la nostra posizione meravigliosa. Downtown Springfield è un modello del miglior tipo di rinnovamento urbano per molti a seguire. Ci sono oltre 50 ristoranti, due cinema, 5 bar, due parchi, il baseball AA (per il St. Louis Cardinals), e tre collegi (MSU, Drury, e OTC) a pochi passi. Avete una scelta; si può stare qui con noi e rilassarvi sulla nostra veranda o, o prendere a piedi una pletora di ristoranti e divertimenti tutto intorno a noi. Che cosa porta il nostro ospite schiena è il nostro impegno al servizio. Noi vogliamo che tu abbia un buon tempo, e si adopererà per rendere il vostro soggiorno è un favoloso uno. La casa e la proprietà non fanno male neanche! Date un'occhiata al granito, finiture e piastrelle di lavoro, grandi finestre aperte e avvolgente portico!

We really loved this place for our bowling trip to Springfield. Perfect for the 5 of us! Host was very prompt in responding and place was beautiful, clean, roomy, and relaxing. Will stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful. Great location near downtown area. We all loved the big front porch for evening chats. Except for the loud racing cars, we would definitely go back.

Graduation stay!

This is our second stay here in this beautiful home! It just down right feels like you are at home in this beautiful cozy home. Clean, close to everything we needed to get to on campus for graduation and moving our graduating son off campus to his new house for next year. Close to Hammonns Field where we went to watch the Bears baseball team bring home a victory, and within driving distance of shopping and good eats. Hoping to return again next spring when he graduates with his masters degree. Dixie is the best host and always is prompt in answering any questions. Highly recommend her properties!!

Upgrade bathroom stools and shower area with handicap bars

We had a great time. Appreciated all the bedrooms on the lower floor. Also there needs to be a railing by the side steps where the keys are.

Inaccurate Listing

This listing specifically says “entire house” when pulling it up on VRBO. When we received the information to check in from the lister we were informed that we could only use certain parking spots because the others were reserved for “upstairs tenants”. We had no clue we would be sharing a property with other people during our stay. The apartments upstairs have their own entrance through a back stairway/deck. However, footsteps, toilets flushing, etc. could be heard frequently. Unless you search through the 100 reviews there is nothing on the original listing stating that it is a downstairs living quarters and not a full house. Cleanliness and the location was no issue. Would not stay here again.

White Coat Celebration

My daughter was receiving her White Coat from Missouri State University. We (her parents), her 92 year old grandfather, her brother, sister in law and two nieces stayed at the house. It was so nice to all be together instead of separate hotel rooms. We will definitely rent here again. JL

Walnut street is historic and so is this property. The wrap around porch is perfect And walkable to many Springfield attractions.

Convenient to Missouri State and Downtown

Our experience (5 adults) was excellent. The property was clean and well-furnished. The layout is exceptional, with a large kitchen, den and porch. The coffee selection and snacks were outstanding-better than expected. It's the perfect place to visit Missouri State University. And it's just a few blocks away from the downtown center, with plenty of food and entertainment nearby. This is a great stay for those who want to be in a lively area.

Perfect for Parents Weekendd

I was not familiar with the neighborhood as my daughter is a freshman at Missouri State University this year. This was a great centrally located house that was spacious and walks away from the campus. Very clean as well!

Beautiful historic home, great location!

Loved the proximity to MSU campus, very comfortable stay for our family as we moved our son into his dorm. I was not expecting there to be another unit upstairs, I probably overlooked it in the listing. We could hear footsteps above but it was not an issue for us.

Felt like home & conveniently located!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home in Springfield, MO. Our family of five was very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the coffee, snacks, and washer/dryer available for our use. Our only suggestion is to trim back the shrubs next to the parking spots for easier access to the driver-side doors. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would certainly recommend this spot to our family and friends!

Lovely Place

A very nicely remodeled first floor of an old house. High ceilings, a large living room and open kitchen. Lots of room. Water pressure was fantastic. Located in a quirky neighborhood near campus and downtown. Lots of restaurants nearby. And easy communication with the property manager. Would happily stay here again.

Nice house on Walnut

The house was very clean and location was good for the function we attended. Parking could be better, but we made it work with the help of the property manager allowing us to park at their business 3 doors down. One thing that was not mentioned in the listing online, there are tenants living above in an apartment. It really did not cause a problem since they were moving out. Pros: Clean house, comfortable beds and good location. Cons: need to add to list that there is an apartment upstairs with tenants. Needs more than just 2 parking spaces reserved on the property. This is a place that accommodates up to 8 people, that’s usually a minimum of 4 cars when people can’t carpool. With our group of friends we had during our stay, we actually had 8 people and 5 cars due to different schedules and travel times. As stated earlier though, nice of the property owners to let us park at their building down the street.
