“Stayed in the motel queen room for one night… that’s the good part. Gena’s is good for one night given the location and the restaurant that serves excellent food. You need to be patient and quite sporty regarding the room. Everything is quite old and we found a wad of hair in the sheets, the bathroom is tiny and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. We asked for a hair dryer and the staff simply replied “no”. It’s an experience for one night, I don’t recommend for longer stays.”

“L’esperienza più bella della vacanza ! Le camere sono arredate in stile, i letti sono molto comodi e i bagni sono pulitissimi e di recente ristrutturazione. La proprietaria è davvero gentile, simpaticissima e un’ottima cuoca. La colazione è davvero ottima, preparata in casa con macedonia con squisita frutta di stagione, frittata con verdure fresche e pane e marmellata. La cosa più difficile sarà andare via senza un cucciolo di pastore australiano (che allevano nel loro ranch). Consigliatissimo!”

“Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

“Had the best time here. It was the perfect place for a reset: close to great national parks and forests, quiet, secluded, but with everything you need to be comfortable. “We got totally scammed at this VRBO. The house was essentially abandoned. Completely over grown yard, garbage on the porch, garbage throughout the property. The host never responded to questions about check in. Phone number we called went straight to voicemail and we were never able to contact the host.
