“The parking was slightly confusing but we didn't end up having any issues. We were under the impression this would be more of an entire house with a kitchen, the pictures are deceiving. It is just a room. It was still great for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we just loved the bathroom! There weren't any towels when we arrived so we weren't able to shower after hiking all day but when we woke up there were some outside our door. We did book very last minute. “We had everything we needed to cook real meals..not just microwaved. The house was clean, cozy and a good location for visiting King's Canyon and Sequoia.”

“The house and location were perfect for a holiday family getaway to the woods. We had a wonderful time exploring Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park during the day. And in the evening, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a cozy thanksgiving dinner. Thanks!”

“Parking was very easy and I was able to park near my specific room, and the room was clean. It is pet friendly which is nice for those traveling with pets, but because of that don't be surprised if you hear barking at night, which I witnessed during my stay. It did not really bother me as I knew it was pet friendly so it was expected to a certain degree. Staff was super friendly and great with offering suggestions for things to do nearby and places to eat.”

“Stayed in the motel queen room for one night… that’s the good part. Gena’s is good for one night given the location and the restaurant that serves excellent food. You need to be patient and quite sporty regarding the room. Everything is quite old and we found a wad of hair in the sheets, the bathroom is tiny and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. We asked for a hair dryer and the staff simply replied “no”. It’s an experience for one night, I don’t recommend for longer stays.”
