We stayed at Le Grand Miramont for a few nights during the holidays. The upstairs rooms were nice, the area is quiet, and the property is pet-friendly.Unfortunately, several issues impacted our stay. Despite advising the host we would be at full capacity, bedding for the sofa bed was not prepared and had to be located by us in a blocked closet. The sofa bed and couch were in very poor condition, with ripped cushions and damaged foam.The basement bathroom is essentially a public bathroom with missing wall tiles and toilet stalls. Two of the five bathrooms did not have functional locks, and one exhaust fan was not working.The floor plan provided indicated three kitchens, but there was only one. Although three washing machines were available, no laundry detergent was provided. We were told to use dishwasher liquid instead, which raised concerns about cleanliness and how guest linens are washed. The host was also unresponsive when we requested additional toilet paper.There were multiple undisclosed extra fees. Firewood was not included despite a winter stay and was offered only at an additional cost. This was a first for us, as firewood is typically provided in similar rentals. We also asked, as a courtesy, whether early check-in might be possible if the unit was already cleaned and ready. The host refused and insisted on a fee of 150/ hour.Given the very high price, we expected much better condition, transparency, and service
