“The rooms are very basic, clean, comfortable bed, very affordable with restrooms and showers down the hall. If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. ”

“The pillows were not great at all. Bring your own pillow. The tv did not work for the Roku. The rooms were deceptive as they are the size of an office. They were clean and tidy, which was good to see. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was a nice add to have with dishes available to use. ”

“This motel is in a VERY dangerous area of Edmonton!! We ended up leaving and booking else-where. DO NOT stay here of you have children.. I wouldn't have even stayed if my kids weren't with me. The parking lot and building was surrounded by obviously high/intoxicated groups of ppl. My 13 year old daughter was harassed walking from our car and there is no security- anyone can just walk in! There was also blood in the bathroom on the wall.. as soon as we saw the room we left, I expressed we did not...
