“The rooms at No1 are always amazing: clean, comfortable, aesthetically nice, and very conveniently located. This would have been a 5*, but unfortunately we got the attic room, which involved MANY stairs up. Given my mother's age and mobility, this negatively impacted the enjoyment of our stay. If stairs matter, proactively ask about which room you are getting before you book.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. Pam was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. We could see the sea from our bedroom window. It is a little far to the centre of town, so if you don't have a car, be prepared.”

“Had a lot more hope for this property. First they were not happy we booked though Expedia and not through them. Second the first room was damaged with a broken bed frame. Went directly to front desk to fix as soon as got to the room. Took a while to fix that with no apology. Got a new room. Some staff friendly and some not. First thing that strikes you is the stains on the carpet and dirty hallways that need cleaning. Room didn't have enough towels for 2 people. They did give us one extra...

“Finalmente il mio sogno si è avverato: ho dormito per due notti in un vero castello scozzese!!! Il posto è fantastico: Renata e David sono stati dei perfetti padroni di casa e ci hanno accolto con entusiasmo e cortesia! A dieci minuti di strada da St Andrews e a 15 dalle meravigliose cittadine della costa del Fife. Un vero paradiso! Non solo consigliato, ma super stra consigliato!!! ”
