Sand Pail Beach Cottage 3/2.5 +loft & heated pool

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage. Just steps to the non-driving section of the beach and a stones throw to coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream, bike rentals and surf shops. The house has a large heated pool and outdoor seating for family with barbecue.

Two year old home, very private (fenced in yard), 5 houses from the non-driving section of the beach, with a private heated pool. We also have the same exact house located directly across the street (Sand Dollar Beach Cottage). Specialty coffee shop at corner, bike rentals, restaurants and shops a few blocks away. 3 miles from downtown!
What our guests say they love the most about the house:

- never having to drive, one block away is a boutique coffee shop (Kuckbarros), bike rentals for a ride on the beach, taco shop, surf shop (Pit surf shop), ice cream shop (cone heads), bathing suit shop (sunshine), barbecue restaurant (Jacks), seafood restaurant (high tides), ocean front restaurant (beachcombers) and more!
- Beach chairs, umbrellas, and wagon to take to the award-winning beach
- being able to take your furry friend on vacation and better yet, enjoy the beach.

Perfect Beach Cottage

Beautiful house. Great location, very clean and everything we needed for a fun week at the beach. The kids loved the pool. I would definitely recommend The SandPail Cottage.

Fantastic!

This place is amazing! The house is clean, well set, and in a perfect location, and the host was wonderfully responsive and helpful. We loved the coffee shop next door and the quiet beach down the road and being able to walk to tons of great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Grandparents Anniversary Trip

We had a total of twenty two family members staying in two houses. We had a large home beachfront and this was our overflow for seven. The pool was an awesome compliment to our ocean front main camp and right around the corner. Brad was great to work with and the house was lovely and very clean.

Thanksgiving Family Getaway

We booked this property for a family get away this Thanksgiving and had an amazing time. Several people in our group flew in from Michigan for the trip. The drive from the Jacksonville Airport was a breeze. I cannot say enough good things about the location of the house. We walked the very short walk to the beach at least once a day which was great. There were so many excellent restaurant choices all within walking distance as well, especially the delicious coffee shop next door that we started each day with. We enjoyed being on the beach side of St. Augustine this trip but also loved how easy it was to drive downtown. Having the option to heat the pool made it an option for use for the kiddos, even on the cooler days. We look forward to hopefully booking this location again in the future!

Nice beach location

Nice newer cottage in great proximity to beach. Place was well kept with all the amenities of home including a temp controlled pool. Very quiet area and just a short walk to beach. Coffee shop next door had the best coffee I have ever had. Enjoyed our time here and will be back.

Beautiful beach house

The property is beautiful and so well kept. Extremely clean. Only 1 block to beach and tons of restaurants. Historic St Augustine is 10 min away with lots to do. Couldn’t have gotten a better place for our family vacation. Thank you to our hosts.

Perfect Beach Home

Gorgeous home, with an easy walk to the beach. Our party of 6 adults, 4 children, and a dog had PLENTY of room and places to sleep. Very clean and well kept home and yard, with all of the necessities a home provides. We all loved the pool in the back yard. There are so many great restaurants and fun shops within walking distance, including a quaint (and SO good!) coffee shop literally a stone’s throw from the front yard. The owner and property manager are both very responsive. So many memories made in this fantastic rental! I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home for a family gathering. So accommodating for people of all ages. We all agreed it was the best home we have rented for our yearly St. Augustine vacation.

Perfect place!

A lovely home to spend some relaxing days with family! The pool was much used and the short walk to the beach was perfect. Plenty places to eat and play all within walking distance. Had one question while we were there and Brad responded very quickly and took care of our needs. Great host and great place!

Beautiful beach house close to everything

The house is very new and clean. I loved the pool and the fenced in yard was great for my dogs. Comfortable beds. Very close to the beach and next door to the best coffee shop. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Property in the Perfect Location

This house is absolutely perfect! Our family of 6 were extremely comfortable. Very short walk to the beach at the end of the road, and the beach wagon and umbrellas were a nice surprise. Having the private heated pool was awesome, as we didn't have to worry about anyone else around our teenage girls. Do not miss eating at Mango Mango's - the food was outstanding.

Conveniently located. Try the nearby Les Petits Pleasures Bakery. Enjoyed the Lighthouse. Columbia Restaurant on St. George is iconic. Ran into a farmer's market on Wednesday at the Pier. Farmer's Market was really great.

Perfect for our family

It was a perfect place to stay to celebrate our daughters white coat ceremony. Beach is close and the pool and backyard was a perfect size for all of us (10) to hangout in. We would definitely rent here again.
