We booked this property for a family of five during spring break due to its location and description of being newly renovated. Upon arrival, we found several broken items, including chairs, the kitchen trash can, the refrigerator water dispenser, microwave light, and two outdoor chairs. The unit was extremely dirty outside, and the inside was not as clean as expected for a Vrbo.The property claims to sleep 10, but there aren’t enough supplies or seating for that many people. The beds in the room with two beds are full size, not queen. There are two love seats, one of which is very worn. The kitchen lacked basic supplies like measuring cups and enough placeware for 10 people, and the pots and pans seemed second-hand.The exterior was very dirty, with filthy windows, wood-boring bees, wasp nests, and a gross outdoor kitchen. If you have issues with insects, this isn’t the place for you. We encountered several spiders and cockroaches, though it was rainy, which can drive bugs inside.I contacted the owners about the broken items, and they promptly brought water and two new stools. The owners were communicative, check-in was easy, and the WiFi was fast. The property grounds were nice.With a thorough deep cleaning and updates, this unit could be better. We left early, feeling we didn’t get what we paid for.
