This comfortable vacation home is located in the popular West Gulf Beaches neighborhood of the island. Enjoy sea views from the covered deck in this bright and airy home or take a short stroll to the sugar sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Additional local attractions include a variety of local shops, restaurants, nightlife, the multi-use path connecting the entire island, St. George Island Lighthouse, the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve Nature Center, Battery Park, and Orman House Historic State Park, all less than 15 miles from your door.

The exterior of this home offers under-house concrete parking and a convenient covered entry. The sparkling pool will be a favorite place to spend the day, with a privacy fence and plenty of chaise loungers. An enclosed outdoor shower will greet you after a day of fun in the sun.

The second floor of this home will bring everyone together in the spacious and attractive open-concept living area. Hardwood floors and an abundance of windows provide lots of natural light and a beach vibe. The well-appointed kitchen stands ready to prepare your coastal creations and a breakfast bar seats four for morning coffee and conversation. An adjacent dining table seats four and the living room enjoys comfy seating, a TV, and direct access to the covered Gulf view deck.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Good location . Bike ride to Piggly wiggley and shops. Access to beach right across the road. We did not have hot water as soon as we checked in. Staff addressed the issue immediately, it was fixed and a very smooth process. Plenty of room for our family and the kids loved the pool option. FEW things : No outside picture of the house is on the listing. Its a tall yellow structre that can been seen on google maps , this needs to be added to listing. It does have lots of steps once insdie to main level so not for people with bad knees for sure ! Pack a Fan! If you sleep on 2nd floor of this home. It was so warm, but cold on the first level. No crockpot, so if you plan to do easy meals, pack this as well.

Best vacation

We enjoyed staying at Shore to C and loved St George Island. It was a very private location that made us feel at home. Very close to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Great location

We enjoyed this location. It is not far from beach access making it easy to get to and from. Unfortunately the house had some issues - the second floor AC wasn’t working properly

Shabby

Needs attention, besides the new carpet throughout, rusty vents, doors and sliders, worped cabinets, dated bathrooms and worn furniture. I'd say it was still comfortable but no, the air conditioning didnt support the 2nd floor staying at 78°occasionally kicking on at 3am. Pool water was super low. Called twice about it but didn't see anyone until 3 days into stay and was told 'they know this pool is crap'. We had to put the hose in it everyday to fill it up. We needed more towels and house/Vacasa info said to call but we were told we have a washer and dryer. We did get a full set later that day. We've stayed on the island nearly every year for years and this house, pool and location with the traffic was the most disappointing.

Great location and spacious.

Great location with a short walk to the beach. House was spacious and clean just a bit dated. The queen beds could use replacing or a topper to soften the bed.
