Benvenuto su Tangerine Dream!

Trascorrete una settimana in spiaggia in grande stile in questa proprietà sul mare magnificamente e riccamente arredata. Un cottage caldo e invitante, Tangerine Dream offre tutti i comfort di casa con una vista mozzafiato sulla spiaggia e un facile accesso alla spiaggia.

Entrando nel 1 ° piano, troverete due camere da letto, una delle quali è una master suite fronte spiaggia con letto king-size. Questa camera si apre su una terrazza privata arredata e coperta con accesso al piano terra e al lungomare. Puoi goderti la mattina presto mentre il sole sorge sul Golfo o puoi scegliere di avventurarti nel nostro giardino di palme per l'aria fresca del Golfo. Un bagno privato con vasca idromassaggio / doccia completa questa master suite.

La seconda camera è arredata con gusto, con un letto matrimoniale e bagno privato con grande doccia piastrellata. Tutte le nostre camere hanno la comodità di una TV a schermo piatto e ventilatore a soffitto per il vostro comfort.

Il secondo piano è lo spazio di vita condiviso e contiene le migliori viste della casa. Troverete la cucina ben fornita e pronta per preparare un pasto a base di pesce fresco locale. Un grande bar per la colazione con posti a sedere per 4 e piani di granito rendono questo un luogo di ritrovo facile prima di uscire per la giornata. Una zona lavanderia si trova anche appena oltre la cucina.

La cena viene servita con vista sulle scintillanti acque del Golfo a un tavolo che può ospitare fino a 6 persone. Appena oltre la zona pranzo si trova il soggiorno con divano letto Queen, grande TV a schermo piatto e combinazione DVD / VHS. Si può godere la vista sul Golfo dal comfort di questo spazio o sul ponte coperto sulla spiaggia. Entrambi i nostri ponti superiori e inferiori hanno schermi di privacy a est, per sfruttare al meglio un soggiorno rilassante con la famiglia e gli amici. Un bagno completo con ampia doccia piastrellata si trova appena fuori dalla tromba delle scale ed è facilmente accessibile dalla zona giorno e dalla camera da letto soppalcata.

La camera da letto soppalcata si trova sopra la cucina e si affaccia sulla zona giorno sottostante. Questa è una grande sala per single adulti, bambini o adolescenti, con 1 letto queen size e 1 letto singolo (foto aggiornata a breve!). I panorami dell'isola sono meglio visibili dalla finestra della camera da letto qui.

Il nostro parcheggio è fiancheggiato da una pavimentazione in mattoni che rende l'andare e venire una facile impresa mentre esplori la zona. La nostra casa si trova a pochi passi da ristoranti, negozi e il parco del faro, quindi è possibile visitare la zona a piedi o noleggiare una bicicletta e godere dei chilometri di pista ciclabile a disposizione degli ospiti in visita.

Un comodo sentiero ti porta dal bordo della strada alla spiaggia, mentre passi attraverso un curatissimo giardino di palme con panchine e capanna tiki, il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi mentre la cena cucina sul grill in stile parco nelle vicinanze.

La nostra passerella rende la spiaggia facilmente accessibile e il nostro spazio esterno unico renderà la nostra casa facile da trovare quando è ora di tornare per la sera. E non dimenticare di sciacquare la sabbia della spiaggia in una comoda e privata doccia esterna calda / fredda, disponibile appena fuori dal ponte inferiore.

The location of the house is perfect. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunrise. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is pet friendly, which is very nice. Would highly recommend this rental as this was 2nd time here.

SGI - Month Stay

Generally as advertised.Pros: clean, great location, well maintained, well equipped, excellent internet, good TVs, comfortable bed in MBR, good W/DCons: dated decor (1980s Tommy Bahama), LR TV too high, needs new dish washer, most windows don’t function, needs better lighting in LR, needs reading lamps in 2nd BR, low quality kitchenware.

Great location!

Fantastic location! It was absolutely perfect staying right on the beach. We weren’t able to check in on time because cleaners were running late. The property management company was able to get ahold of them and rush the process. Make the trip to Indian Pass Raw bar in Apalachicola you won’t be sorry!

Well appointed

We loved this one and will definitely rent it again. The louvered decks are a nice touch as well as the large patio. Interior details are also well done with the tile floor, granite and the wood ceiling. Met friendly folks all around us too but never crowded.

Great for those who don’t mind stairs

House is in a great location. Pillows and bed were not good. Lots of stairs - tough for my parents to manage. It is my fault, though, for not excluding properties without an elevator. Owner was easy to contact and answered questions promptly. Thank you!!

Great location

The location can’t be beat however, was disappointed at how the majority of the furnishings in the home were very rough looking. The whole west side of the kitchen must be slanted because the dishwasher wouldn’t stay closed and every time you opened the refrigerator the freezer would open slightly as well, we found that out when everything in the freezer had already thawed. The outside certainly needs a face lift compared to the other houses in that area as well. Overall, We loved our stay at St. George Island and we loved the location but would not stay at this house again.

SGI Tangerine Dream

We had a great week at the Tangerine Dream! It is beautiful and clean and is as pictured. It’s in a perfect location with quick access to the beach as well as the grocery store and other shops!

Good potential but not well kept up for the money.

Lots of items need attention - rusted shelves in freezer, plastic storage bins in fridge broken and with missing pieces, master shower floor very slippery with absolutely nothing to grab onto for safety, broken latch on sliding door to deck, screws sticking up in shower drain in main floor guest bedroom, oven light won't turn off, many dishes, utensils and cookware were not clean, no instructions for how to use the TV (two remotes needed), water heater blew the breaker and ran out of water after a single 10-minute shower, the Farberware cutlery is very cheaply made and would not even slice a tomato. We would not stay here again unless these items were all addressed and corrected.

Six out of Five Stars - Excellent!!!

I can’t say enough good things about the property and the management! First, communication with management from start to finish was absolutely stellar! That is where the extra star comes from in rating this. We had a difficult trip getting to Florida (won’t bore you with the details) so we needed some extra recommendations, blankets, and the like. Jamie was there for us. Can’t say enough good things. She helped turn a hard trip right around for us! Second, the property was clean, close and comfortable. It was better than it looked on the listing (which is usually not the way it goes). All the beds were very comfortable (not common either). Everything was ready when we arrived. Kitchen was fully equipped. All the TVs and DVD players worked great. A/C was great. Three bathrooms with three showers gave us what we needed. Last, the location and the neighborhood were excellent! We could walk to all the grocery stores, center stores and our personal favorite The Blue Parrot. We had one issue where teenagers were playing loud music by the park close by but Jamie, once again, took care of that for us too! She called in the local deputy and they quieted it right down. So not even that was an issue. We did not have a rental car (part of that hard trip) but we didn’t need it. We had a car service pick us up and drop us off. We could go everywhere we needed. Mostly we enjoyed walking out the back and sitting on the beach using our VayKay gear. The property had boogie boards so we all were able to enjoy using those. There was a hose we could use to rinse our feet and gear when we returned. A walk way out to the beach made access ease. They thought of everything! We were a group of 8 and this place was perfect for us. Looking for a great place, a great location and great management? Look no further than rather Tangerine Dream!!!

Lovely cottage right on the beach!

My partner, 3 year-old son, and I stayed at Tangerine Dream the week of Thanksgiving. I can’t say enough nice things about this place! The house was exactly as pictured and a beautiful place to spend the holiday week. The house it truly *right on* the beach with its own private catwalk. We loved the two private decks, from which we witnessed dolphins and spectacular sunrises. The beach was not crowded and social distancing was a breeze. The island is very remote and quiet- this was a major part of the appeal to us- so there isn’t much to do but enjoy the water. That said, the Blue Parrot is a short walk up the beach, with an outdoor Tiki bar if you want to pick up a piña colada to-go. (We only did take-out from there, and cooked our other meals.) I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relatively remote vacation with a small family!

Great beach location, perfect view

Great location, Island is very relaxing not much to do other than sit on the beach and enjoy the view. Beds very uncomfortable, but plenty of space. Will be back. Family time optimized
