Tutto ok

Il cottage è molto carino, molto pulito e dotato di tutti i comforts. Le camere sono piccole, ma funzionali. Televisione in salotto con molti dvd a disposizione. Ottima base per visitare i dintorni.

The setting was perfect, the description of a woodland retreat was spot on. We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries. We had an amazing stay, and holiday.

Die Unterkunft war gemäß Beschreibung und die Betreuung durch die Vermieterin sehr gut. Die Infrastruktur des Parks (Schwimbad, Laden, Rezeption, Restaurant) empfanden wir als unzureichend und schmuddelig.

Advertised for 4 people but definitely more suitable for family with 2 young children. Chalet was very small and only has one mirror in the main bedroom so with 2 older daughters getting ready to go out was a bit chaotic. Think the photos may have been taken some time ago as the property feels a bit tired and some of the issues mentioned in other reviews are still to be resolved. We’ve stayed at several VRBO properties so surprised this had such a high rating.

Lovely space with a cute seaside theme, perfect for our little family weekend in Cornwall. The surrounding woodland area is peaceful and secluded too. Our host was very communicative and welcoming, very kindly leaving a little treat for our children and dog. We would definitely love to stay again

Good stay for families with young children.

Als stel vonden wij het toch allemaal wat minder. Veel aankleding en prulletjes, maar de ovenwerking was onleesbaar, ging samen met kookplaat aan. Kookgerei ook niet kwalitatief. Pannen ingekrast. Sommige verlichting deed het niet (badkamer).Bank oogde niet fris/kleed wel schoon.Geen warm water op enig moment meer in keuken. Beschrijving onduidelijk. Er was niets onder de “sink” wat we aan of uit konden zetten daar.Je kunt natuurlijk wel de host gaan bellen enzo, maar daarvoor heb je geen vakantie.Lang verhaal kort: functionaliteit belangrijker dan rest.Terras kon ook beter.Het voldeed dus niet aan verwachting voor die prijs.

So many things amiss with this property. My friend and I stayed for 3 nights she had the double room and I had the twin room. My bed was so uncomfortable the mattress was old and springs could be felt. It had been covered in several layers of bedding but that did not disguise the fact that the mattress needed replacing. I spent half of the first night on the sofa. Second night in other bed also hard and uncomfortable so doubled up the single duvet to cushion my back. In the double room the mattress was so soft and gave no support my friend did not want to look at the quality of her mattress but I suspect it is also old. There was absolutely no space around the bed so she had to climb over it to pull down the blind which had a large hole in the lining, or to open the window. The tap in the bathroom came off whenever you used it there was no mirror light above the basin and no catch whatsoever on the door. The kitchen was clean and plenty of utensils but the cooker dials had all had the markings cleaned off so it was guesswork to use the oven or grill. Also in the kitchen a bin with no lid! The email we received said the pool and entertainment was extra and could only be arrange through the owner/ not so as the receptionist in the park said we could get one there. This extra cost was not mentioned on booking but only on the email received 3 days before arrived. The park itself was most pleasant and we would stay there again but not at any of the properties of this host.

Overall it was ok. If definitely was not a 10 rating. The WiFi was spotty. I tried to call the host and I could not hear her. There needs to be more instructions on how to work things like the shower, the heater, and the doors are horrible to unlock. Two keys to unlock the doors leading into the unit. The unit was clean. The beds were comfortable enough.

Peaceful getaway

The property was immaculate and can't fault anything. Would definitely recommend staying here if you have a dog as theres lovely walks in the woodland, whilst being a short distance from St Ives.

The animations are as listed and it dues not disappoint. Communication with the property manager was easy when a question arose. Easy to get around from this location - St Ives and other locals. Loved it.

Cosy stay

All you need for a short break. Great to use to explore the St Ives area…. There’s a bus to all parts at the entrance. Didn’t use the entertainment on site but looked clean and tidy.
