“The condo was great. Don’t worry about not having full access to south seas. The resort isn’t fully back to where it was pre hurricane so make sure you reserve beach gear to rent. There are great restaurants close by that are better than the resort. The beach is great and pool. If you do play tennis they have modified some courts for pickleball. If you are coming for tennis and been to South Seas before the storms. The main tennis center is gone (blackwood tennis) so no lessons or clinics but...

“Great unit & perfect location. Beautiful view of the marina side & wildlife (osprey, manatee, herons, etc). Quick 5-10 minute walk to the beach on the Gulf side. Pool & hot tub right next to the unit building. Plenty of parking & 10-15 minute walk to downtown bars & restaurants. Host was very responsive & generous. Highly recommend!”

“Great location. Minutes to the sand and local shops/restaurants. Loved Wickies lighthouse restaurant. Unit had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Chose sanibel island for the shelling and it didn't disappoint. Love this little island!”

“Despite external issues outside the control of the owners the property was lovely and nicely located for using the beach. There could have been more beach towels and only two of the beach chairs provided were usable. However any issues we had were resolved very quickly and we would definitely stay there again”

“I have stayed at South Seas many times over many years, so it makes me sad to say I will NEVER go back. The pictures that are portrayed of the unit are all lies! The place is like a ghost town. It is filled with construction workers. Worse yet, you do not have access to the resort or any of its “few” restaurants. You are not told any of this during booking. The pool that you do have access to was filthy. I spoke with the registration person who admittedly took some responsibility for the fact...
