“Convenient location, close to many activities and the bus line.”

“We had room 402 on the fourth floor it was very warm with the sun coming into room all afternoon, we left a note for room service to leave the curtains pulled which helped on our return. We requested a fan which helped, one window was screwed shut which didn’t help. The floor sloped by approximately 4 inches from the door to the windows including the bathroom.”

“Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay, lovely bathroom & comfortable bed. Would return again and recommend to others”

“Attentive, friendly staff. Kevin was great along with the breakfast and cleaning staff. Good, central location. Clean, well maintained rooms. Too much peripheral noise. Loud talking and snoring heard through walls of neighboring rooms. Some sort of sewer flushing pipe/drain in courtyard outside our window whooshed frequently.”

“We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. ”

“Large family room 50m from the promenade. Had everything you could need including large bathroom, tv, tea and coffee. Lots of local and tourist info and leaflets available. Staff were very helpful. We were not in the main building so had a short walk up the road for breakfast which was a good choice of full English or continental. We did eat at the restaurant otherwise. “I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels.”

“We rented a luxury apartment. It had a spacious living area with all you need for self catering. Housekeeper there to welcome us and show us to the room. Like the fact you can have your apartment serviced - clean towels etc. If you have a car there are reserved spaces out the back in the car park. Only negatives were the apartment we rented was on the top floor (three flights of stairs) - no lift. So with heavy baggage it’s hard work but not a real problem for us. Bedroom is very small and...
