NUOVA CASA VACANZE !!!!

BODHI'S BAY HOUSE - Questa casa si trova a pochi passi dalla spiaggia privata della comunità, completamente fornita di tutto il necessario per passare dei bei momenti sulla baia. Un'ora da D. C. e pochi minuti di auto per cenare in riva al mare informale a Solomon e Broomes Island. Forniamo teli da mare, ombrelloni, sdraio, una borsa termica e un carro da spiaggia. I kayak sono disponibili (da 2 a 4), facci sapere se ne hai bisogno. troverete anche lenzuola, asciugamani da bagno, asciugamani da cucina e tutti gli articoli da cucina necessari per preparare un buon pasto. Una porta dalla cucina conduce ad un portico schermato che corre per tutta la lunghezza della casa. Bodhi's Bay House ha un piano piano aperto con una camera da letto e un bagno al primo piano, dormendo in più nel "nook" (un trundle sotto le scale); due camere da letto al piano superiore condividono un bagno jack-and-Jill ed entrambe escono da un secondo piano con vista sull'acqua della baia e un balcone che si affaccia sul soggiorno / sala da pranzo. Parcheggio per 5 auto. Hai trovato una gemma sulla baia, una delizia per un cacciatore di fossili, incendi sulla spiaggia di notte, albe incredibili, parchi naturali, vigneti, feste di granchio e bei momenti.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was especially helpful that it was so well stocked with essentials since we flew into DC and then drove to the house. The beach was a short walk from the house and even though it wasn't very big, we were almost the only ones there. The jellyfish were pretty bad 2 days though. We found that it wasn't very far to restaurants and Walmart for our needs.Thank you for very pleasant stay.

4.5 stars if I could! This home's interior is super cute and cozy and the owner provides anything you could think. So nice to have all linens including beach towels here and not have to worry about forgetting something. The home was extremely clean!! 4 tvs on the property if that is important to you. The cutest little beach, home to the neighborhood herron, is just a 3 min walk away. Our young family really enjoyed this spot and its comfort and convenience! It would be a 5 spot if the outside property had a little more TLC. Highly recommend!

We had a very pleasant stay in this well-appointed and thoughtfully equipped home. The house itself has everything you might need—and more—for a comfortable and relaxing visit. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making guests feel welcome.The only minor drawback was the immediate surroundings outside, where a few areas appeared somewhat unkempt. It was a bit unclear who the items belonged to, and the area could benefit from a little tidying up or perhaps a partial fence to create more visual separation.That said, the interior and overall experience more than made up for it.

Great location

Easy community beach access was by far the best feature of this rental. We spent most of our days on the quiet beach just down the street either fishing, swimming or shark tooth hunting. Everything you could ever need was provided in the house as well.

Family birthday

We traveled from Alabama to Maryland to celebrate my mother in law’s 80th birthday. While there we invited some of her family over for a small dinner and celebration. We loved the home. It was decorated beautifully and there was plenty of seating and space. We really enjoyed the screed in back porch. The home is very organized and was not lacking in any amenity! The neighborhood is very quiet and while walking to the private beach we met some residents who were very friendly.

The Great Escape!

The perfect spot to recharge

All of us agreed that Bodhi's Beach House was perfect. The cottage was charming, beautifully appointed, and comfortable. We were delighted with its proximity to the private beach and access to amenities (such as the kayaks and other gear) that made it easy for us to enjoy as little or as much as we wanted. I urge others to check out the area--a gorgeous mix of hiking trails and wetlands, often leading to stunning views of the bay and hidden beaches. Patti was an excellent host--friendly and responsive, yet allowing us the freedom to truly relax. Thank you for your kindness! We will do our best to visit again soon!

Bodhi"s bay House

This is our second stay here. Honestly, I hope to stay here every time we visit the Chesapeake. Bodhi"s is warm and welcoming, feels like I am coming home. In addition, it is immaculate and stocked with everything one needs.

Sweet Cottage

We are women, all over 60. Loved the cottage. The description was very accurate. The kitchen was so well stocked!! Plenty of dvd movies to choose from for our evening downtime. Plus games galore. The beds comfy. And so clean. Walking to the water was pure pleasure. Easy driving distance to Annmarie Sculpture Garden, as well as various parks such as Calvert Cliffs. We would stay again.

Best Hosts ever

We use VRBO about 3 times a year for work and vacation. These were the best hosts we have had. They took extra steps to make our Christmas experience with the kids more fun. They even went out and bought ornaments for the kids to put up on a tree they added to the house just for our trip. The place is tucked away in a special place. Close to DC and many neat features in the area. They even offered more places and things to do to help make our time more enjoyable. This house is stocked like your grandma’s house and we wanted for nothing. We have 5 kids and they were able to stay upstairs comfortably and my wife and I enjoyed the downstairs area to ourselves in the evening. Of all the places we have stayed they truly shine above all others as excellent hosts.

Exactly what we needed

House was great. Screen porch was amazing to be able to sit out and not worry about bugs. The house was fully stocked with what we needed after some small grocery shopping. short walk location to the small beach that the kids never wanted to leave. It was a lovely vacation.

Fabulous family vacation

The property fit our family of 5 adults and 2 children (3 generations) perfectly. It was well-equipped for all our needs - cooking, beach-going, relaxing, playing games, and reading on the screen porch with bay views. It has an easy walk to a lovely beach that wasn't ever crowded. The property manager is nearby, friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. There is a great produce place not far that also sells local meat, dairy, and seafood - and we ate lots of delicious crab! The whole family wants to go back next summer.

House was great. Liked being able to use the compost bin out back. Only negative about the property is that the grass needed cut. Walking through tall grass to get beach chairs and such from the gazebo was a negative. Also the grass was tall around the grill, and the grill has seen better days. In the future, I would look for a property that wasn't so close to other homes, but overall, being my first time using vrbo, it was a good experience and we had a wonderful time.

Lovely house by the Bay

We stayed here with our children and their grandmothers and all had a wonderful time! The kitchen is well stocked and we had no problem finding cookware or whatever else we needed. Clean and you can tell a lot of thought went into the decor! I loved the colors, so bright and welcoming! We appreciated the baby gate and used it to block the stairs for our toddler. Our family enjoyed playing cards on the back patio and walking to the little beach by the house. We were able to find a few shark teeth and other fun treasures. It was a nice getaway! Thank you!

This lovely beach home is our favorite rental since vacationing at Long Beach for many years. Bodhi's Beach House is so warm and welcoming. The house was very clean upon arrival, and stocked with everything to meet our needs, from cooking supplies to beach accessories. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Charming Beach Cottage

Just a block from the Chesapeake Bay, this cottage is well represented as listed on the VRBO web page. My visit was for a family re-union on my Mom's 95th birthday so I didn't get a chance to kayak or swim in the bay, perhaps another time. I would love to come stay here again.

Great place to stay at the beach

Have stayed at different properties in this community over the years on vacations. Really liked this place. Really nice loft style house that was very charming. Great back porch and upper deck with views of the bay. 2 minute walk to beach. Very peaceful neighborhood. Very well stocked with everything you would need and don’t think to bring, including things for the beach. It was a pleasure to meet Patti as she was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful home and location

Bodhi Bay House is a beautiful home and location, with access directly to very serene waters of the bay. Mary and Patty are welcoming property owners who made us feel at home. The house is unique and spacious. We had everything we needed for our stay, even beach equipment and an abundance of beach towels. We would love to return.
