Actually I end up not staying a night of the scheduled 3 nights. I tried to get s refund but it seems the modus operande is to exhaust your patience and time so as to make you give up your claim.
First, the host failed to provide any instruction as to check in, how to get the keys, and most important is that after 10PM, nobody’s there to attend to you!
Arrive 12AM after a 4-hour drive and end up not able to check in. Contacted the number in the email which end up to be a call to Switzerland, literally, which of course end up to not because it’s outside working hours.
I end up booking to another hotel for my 13-year old son has s soccer game at 8AM.
Came back the following morning to check in. Alas! My booking was cancelled! I tried to contact support which is useless on top of repititive machine generated messages.
I tried to ask for a refund and the host referred me to contact Expedia. Thank you Expedia for not providing a contact number in your app and a useless AI chat which is equally useless to claim a refund.
I hope somebody from Expedia that is willing to help will read this review.
