When booking this hotel I was looking for convenience as far as distance and a pool for the kids to swim in. I remember this hotel being decent as far cleanliness when we went in 2024. I did forget about the lack of utensils and their poor follow through when requesting help. I will say that the staff we had this time around was great, except the housekeeper banging on our door and everyone else's at 830am asking if we needed service when it was our first morning and they have a sign saying they'll check every other day... This time around.. our issue beyond the housekeeper was that their pool was closed for maintenance. The water was green and the pool service company was out for the weekend. So no pool for us. We arrived in the evening and was flustered with our kids that were beyond excited because they were ready to swim. We tried to remedy the situation with a refund, but we booked through Expedia so they said they couldn't. The next morning I reached out to Expedia and they were incredibly helpful and attempted to find any sort of remedy with Home2 Suites, but they declined. They offered absolutely nothing. I know now for sure to not ever use this location again. It's just not worth it. -- Also, their shower caulk had pink slime mold on it. That takes a while to grow!
