Allontanati dallo stress e dalle preoccupazioni quando si soggiorna in questa casa vacanze! Costruita negli anni '30, la casa di carrozze ha 2 camere da letto, 1. 5 bagni e può ospitare 8 persone, ma ha una capienza massima flessibile di 9 persone se qualcuno vuole dormire sul divano. La bellissima proprietà è in un ambiente rustico proprio nel centro della città ed è completa di un laghetto e 4 acri di terreno condiviso.

Ti sentirai subito come se avessi lasciato la vita di città alle tue spalle quando arriverai a questa casa situata alla fine di una corsia privata lunga un quarto di miglio. Appena entrati, sarai accolto da un ambiente caldo e confortevole.

Dopo aver sistemato i bagagli, esplorate i 4 acri di terra e il piccolo stagno. Riposa dal tuo giorno di viaggio sul patio privato e arredato. Tieni gli occhi aperti per la vita selvaggia che circonda i terreni!

Perfect place for our St. Lewis adventure.

This place was more amazing then we could have imagined. While we spent very little time at the cottage it provided everything we needed for a family of 6. It was in close proximity to everywhere we planned to visit. If we are ever back in the area again. This is where we would stay for sure! Hands down the best VRBO rental we have have stayed in.

Beautiful Suburban Getaway

We stayed here for three nights and there was plenty of room for our family of four. Our host was very responsive to any questions and the hospitality was exceptional. Our kids really enjoyed the snack selection that was provided as a gift! It was amazingly secluded since it was nestled in a wooded area in suburban St. Charles. We would definitely consider staying here again for future trips to the area!

Amazing Getaway!

Our family is from Springfield, MO which is about 4 hours from this VRBO. We wanted a small, relaxing getaway with our family of five (two adults, 5YO, 3YO, 2 month old) - and this was exactly what we needed! From the smallest detail of juice boxes in the fridge, to a fire pit, to comfy beds, this place has it all. This is probably one of the (if not the) nicest VRBOs we’ve stayed in. The owner was very kind, easy to communicate with - and even called 24 hours prior to our stay to see if there was anything we needed before arrival. We loved this stay & if we visit St Louis area again, this is where we’ll stay! The house itself is in a great location (literally a hidden gem!). Must stay! Thanks for an awesome few days!

Great experience! Would definitely stay again!

Everything was amazing. The host was very informative and kind. It was above and beyond our expectations. The place was immaculate. We had everything we needed for a great experience. There were only 3 of us staying there but it would have been fine with a few more people. We didn't even use one of the bedrooms. Convenient location with close access to the main roadways. 5 stars without a doubt. We will stay there again!

Perfect getaway

The property was absolutely perfect. It was clean and peaceful. Our host, Anita, was very responsive. The location is close to the highway and wasn't far from the activities that we had planned. Our group of 6 will definitely like to return.

Beautifully renovated, sparkling clean carriage house with well-stocked fish pond

Pros: the friendly owner contacted us prior to our arrival via phone call to welcome us and ask about any special wants or needs we might have. Property is on a long private lane, set back from the road, with a very well-stocked fish pond. Interior has been beautifully renovated, and there is great lighting and plenty of storage space throughout thanks to dressers and armoires, as well as lots of wall hooks, despite the overall minimal square footage. Treats for kids and adults were provided and happily consumed! Fresh paint and extreme cleanliness throughout were much appreciated by all of us. Tiny galley kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, and is well-lit; and appliances all work well. Appreciated the functional apartment-sized gas stove and dishwasher. Fridge is full-sized. Granite countertops throughout. Living space is long and narrow, doable for a couple of nights for a family of five like ours. Wi-fi connection is fast. We played some of the board games provided. Bedrooms and beds were ideal for us; king-size bed upstairs for my husband and I, along with a futon and larger bed for my two sons in the adjacent bedroom. Full bath with shower (no bathtub) upstairs was functional and pretty. My daughter took the downstairs bedroom/sitting area with queen bed and used the half-bath downstairs. Plenty of extra towels and blankets. Blinds and curtains everywhere to help block light and provide privacy. AC worked well once we adjusted vents to cool things better upstairs. Ceiling fans also helped with that. Cons: interior is smaller than it looks in the photos, as is typical, but again - it was fine for us for a few days, and well worth what we paid. Though the property is beautifully maintained and landscaped, neighbors are close by and the house is not as isolated as we had imagined. Lots of road noise was the backdrop for our fishing experience, though we certainly caught plenty of fish. Overall, it was a pleasure to discover this property to be so cozy, charming, clean, and welcoming. The owner obviously considered renters' every possible need and met those needs with flying colors! We would certainly return.

A little bit of country in the city

We had a great time relaxing here for a girls weekend. Perfect setting and location; lots of stories and laughter around the fire pit! The host lives on site and was very kind and easy to communicate with and the guesthouse was very cute, clean and comfortable.

Perfect in town getaway!!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The location is so convenient but the property was beautiful. Everything detail in the cottage is clean, updated and inviting. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable! No details were overlooked. We are from the area and it was so nice staying in town but enjoy some open space and relaxation!

The Perfect Getaway!

We had an absolute amazing stay here. My husband and daughter enjoyed fishing.! Super clean super cute we were all very happy! We travel to St Louis a few times a year and this will definitely be our go to! The host was very nice we enjoyed the little extras in the fridge thank you so much!

Secluded getaway minutes from the interstate

One of the best VRBO experiences. This very clean house is in a quiet location minutes from the interstate. It was perfect for a little getaway. I look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the outside patio.

Beautiful Cottage

Charming cottage tucked away in the woods

I just got back from a fabulous weekend with my grown children. This is one of the best VRBO's I have ever stayed in. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. There was a lot of unexpected "extras" including a Charcuterie platter in the fridge. They set up the fire pit and chairs for us. The house was clean and comfy. Having the pond there was neat! We wouldn't have had the same experience had we stayed in a hotel. I'm hoping to go back, I would definitely want to stay there again! My one and only critique about this place is there is a smoke alarm above the stove and yes, I set it off frying bacon :) (open a window and you'll be fine) -Thanks for the memories with my kids your place was beautiful.

Very pleasant stay for girl's weekend.

We rented the cottage for our annual girl's weekend. There were six of us and accommodations were perfect. The host, Anita, was very gracious and responded immediately to any questions we might had. We would definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful!

Anita’s cozy cottage was perfect! Comfortable beds, plush towels, spotlessly clean, every amenity you could think of possibly needing and more (even a fancy charcuterie board!) really made our stay special. Being a hidden gem tucked away in the woods gives it a private outdoorsy setting on the outside but the inside is elegant and modern, lavishly comfortable. Perfect location. 10/10 would recommend!

Wonderful Getaway

Anita is the most fantastic host. The property was in excellent condition. Plenty of towels and supplies on hand for our group of 5. We brought kayaks for the pond and went fishing. Tons of fish and plenty of good times were had by all.

Perfect!

We needed a place that our family could stay while our kids were swimming at the Rec-Plex. This location was perfect, and it was a great place to relax while the kids were not swimming. It was also close to many different attractions and restaurants that our family loved.

Amazing Cottage

Our stay in this cozy little cottage was more than we anticipated! It was tucked back away from traffic, it was quiet and zero disturbances. Anita, the host, was very easy to get a hold of and was quite responsive when we had questions. The home was updated, clean and had every little amenity you could imagine. There is no doubt that we will rent again when we come back to the St Louis area!
