We had the best time staying at The River Stables. The area was incredibly beautiful and safe with lots of space for the kids to play and be kids. The River was far enough away that we could even let our three year old play and not panic that he would be in danger. We were close enough to all the activities in St. Louis but still far enough out that we had privacy and peace/quiet. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to all of our friends. The Kitchen area was galley style but we were still able to prep our meals and have plenty of room without stabbing each other for space infringements. The beds were all clean and comfortable. The mattresses are memory foam and cradle your body. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The living areas and the play areas exceeded our expectations. The host provided lots of games to play and several other things to do while at the house. This was definitely the best VRBO we have stayed in. The host was punctual with communication and we had everything we needed during our family vacation. Since we were there in the winter and the temps were very cold, we didn’t have the opportunity to do many water activities; But it definitely was a great option given we had warmer weather. The surrounding area has lots of thrift stores and shopping centers. There are several museums and local sites to see. We highly recommend grabbing Breakfast at The Shack if you have time. All of the food we had was delicious and came out quick.
